I don’t understand why anyone would take pride in living abroad. Pride has to be earned. Developed countries are developed only because people in those societies put in blood, sweat and tears generation, after generation, after generation. You, as a foreigner, have played zero role in any of that. I am curious, what exactly are you proud of? You have simply optimized your life to better your personal circumstances. Which is an understandable life choice and I can understand a plethora of emotions that may come with making this choice. Why pride though? Why the feeling of superiority? I think it is partly due to internalized self hatred. A lot of Indians genuinely see themselves as little less than others. So by distancing themselves from their identity they get to wash away some of the perceived shame. Living outside is a choice like everything else. It can be motivated by a lot of things and often the correct personal decision. It is sad that this needs to be said, but this fact alone doesn’t make anyone in anyway superior.

🚨 PAK vs IND: SEMI-FINAL OR FINAL? 🚨 - If Pakistan beat Namibia, qualify for the Super 8s, dominate their group and India end up as runner-up, then we can see Pakistan vs India in the semi-final. - But if Pakistan qualify and win all their Super 8 matches, and India also dominate and win all their Super 8 matches, then they won't meet in the semis, we'll only see them in the FINAL.

Are they planning to bombard more with there bullshit calls, i cure this company for wasting my time everyday.
A K Mandhan@A_K_Mandhan

#Shocking Rajeev Jain, CEO, Bajaj Finance, on Q3 Concall on the Impact of AI – “AI listened to 2 Cr calls, converted voice to text, and gave us data. Text-to-data conversion happened for 5.2 lakh customers. As a result, we generated 100,000 new offers for which we did not have information earlier. “This capability did not exist in Q1 and Q2. It just got deployed. We’ll be able to listen to 100 million calls next year,” said Jain. He added that loan disbursements through AI-powered call centres stood at about Rs 1,600 crore. That’s ~ 10% of the Rs 16,545 Cr of disbursals in Q3FY26 Data converting -- data from those calls led to another INR 325 crores of volumes. So, this is just our first attempt. Over the next six months, Bajaj Finance plans to invest heavily in its agents. The company expects to have more than 800 autonomous agents across sales, operations, HR, IT, risk, and DMS in the next fiscal. Similarly, in terms of 100% of videos are now generated by us using AI, 100% of banners are generated using AI, 2.7 lakh videos were generated, and 1.2 lakh banners were generated. At the customer engagement level, we have 11 AI text BOTs that are live that engage with the customer. So rather than sending dumb SMSs for 11 products now, we have an AI text BOT, which allows you to engage, interact, and respond to your queries. The company has 26 products. All 26 will be live between April and May'26. So, there will be no communication that we'll be sending, which will not have a -- whether service or sales, which will not have a conversational BOT embedded in it. At the branch and point of sale, existing customers face match that we're doing, we did 46 million face matches to ensure this is the same customer, if it's an ETB customer who had actually principally come in, giving us much better control over identity. Customer onboarding in terms of document -- ensuring that auto-fill of the document happens, whether it's a PAN card or an Aadhaar. There are 43 such documents that the company has now mapped, which an image extracts with a 95% - 96% accuracy and populate data in our platforms, delivering significant productivity for our employees. Auto quality check of documents is now 41%. As we sharpen the model, it will take us to between 85% and 90% over a period of the next 15-odd months On technology development, we are clearly seeing between 25% - 45% efficiencies emerging in terms of the development process, depending on whether it's a legacy platform, then the benefit is much lower, or rather, I would say, none. But if it's a digital infrastructure, then the efficiencies can be as high as 45% - 47%. So significant work is being done. Src – Q3 Concall, no reco

....Forward : looking at the next Zelensky of India. Uncle's groomed candidate, who is being slowly pushed into limelight cos their experiment with Keju failed. Watch how he starts getting drip-fed into your newsfeed increasingly, as a 'messiah' of relief. I think I had written few years back that this Chaddha is next DS candidate as their last crop of Khujliwal, Sonam bewafa, Sonu scoot, Camel Hassan simply didn’t work out as intended. They have more like that avana, Umer, Mumbai ka metro blocker, Joseph Vijay, Ek kiss tu humko udhar dai de wala PK but this man is their main bet now. People Remember how he was absconding for months for longest voluntary eye issue after Gandhari’s and he was meeting all kinda Khalistani brit politicians. Bollywood wives are perfect setup to open many unlocked keys. Then he came to India and immediately he slowly started distancing from ujliwal to not let the drops of spurious liquor fall on his white clothes. Then he talked about getting blasphemy laws in India which appeals to Pakistani kind elements who can then kill anyone for saying Earth is not flat and r@e any girl under a doctrine. Then quickly he was told to latch onto Gig workers issue to see if they can be used to create urban outrage. Now he is pushing this airport food agenda which is so populist and anti capitalist. Airport is prime property .... ...so if samosa has to be sold at 10 Rs there, tax payers will be paying for all samosa Shuklas and Kachori Khannas appetite. Expect lot of paid good press for this man. How he washes clothes to help his wife and is hardcore feminist, ..... ....how he only uses public transport to save the world, how he doesn’t keep tap on while saving to appeal to environmentalists, ..... ....how he is man of science, how he goes to Dargah, Gurudwara, how he fasts on Karwa Chauth and how he cries every day when he sees any kid begging on streets. His persona will be built layer by layer. 📚 Uncle's groomed candidate, who is being slowly pushed into limelight cos their experiment with Keju failed. Raghav Chadha is a classic example of how easy politics looks when you’re not in power. You can pick a quote from Instagram every day, deliver sermons in house, and get applause because there’s no accountability to words. He has been with AAP since 2012, yet there’s little to point to in terms of tangible delivery over the last decade and now suddenly the preaching sounds louder than ever. I can see why he was pushed early on as a party spokesperson..

If voters can HIRE a neta, they should be able to FIRE the neta too. If Indian voters have the Right to Elect, they should have the ‘RIGHT TO RECALL’ too. Right to Recall is a mechanism that empowers voters to de-elect an elected representative, before their term ends, if they fail to discharge their duties. If we can impeach the President, the Vice President and judges, and move a no confidence motion against an elected government mid term, then why should voters be forced to tolerate a non performing MP or MLA for five full years. Five years is too long. There is no profession where you underperform for five years with zero consequences. More than 24 democracies in the world such as the United States, Switzerland etc. provide arecall or voter initiated removal mechanisms in some form. If Indian voters have the right to elect, they should have the right to recall too. However, there should be safeguards to prevent misuse: Threshold - At least 35 to 40 percent voters should back a recall trigger through a verified petition before any recall vote is held Cooling period - A minimum 18 month lock in after election so the representative has time to deliver and cannot be targeted immediately after winning Clear grounds- Recall only for proven misconduct, fraud, corruption or serious neglect of duty, not everyday political disagreements Final test- Recall succeeds only if more than 50 percent voters support removal in the recall vote This is citizen empowerment. It will push parties to field performers, reduce corruption, and bring democracy back to accountability. Voters have the right to vote someone into office and they should have the right to vote them out of office too.

Blindfolded Brilliance: Bengaluru Student Nitya Stuns with Intuition Skills Bengaluru Today I met Nitya, a 17 year old student of Class 12 at #SriSriRavishankar Vidya Mandir, #Bengaluru. She amazed me with a unique ability: she can read blindfolded. Curious to see this for myself, I opened a newspaper on my mobile phone and asked her to try. To my surprise, she read everything flawlessly, even while #blindfolded. Nitya shared that she has been practicing the Intuition Process daily for about 20 to 25 minutes. Her journey began at the age of 8, when she joined the #ArtOLiving in Bengaluru. Since then, she has been regularly attending classes and deepening her practice of the Intuition Process. Her dedication over the years has clearly nurtured extraordinary skills, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who witnesses them.. @ArtofLiving

IKEA's India business has flatlined for the last three years, with sales of around Rs 1,800 cr. Net loss also continues to rise, reaching Rs 1,325 cr in FY25. Furniture is probably the hardest retail/e-commerce category in India, as we have seen with Pepperfry/ Urban Ladder.

When I was in college, I had all these romanticized, starry eyed dreams about living in big Indian cities, esp Bangalore. Studied in Bombay, moved to Bangalore to chase my founder dreams. Four and a half years later (1.5 in Bombay, 3 in Bangalore), I'm genuinely asking: what's the point? Everything is a hassle. Everything. Finding walking space on roads. Breathing clean air. Escaping noise pollution. Getting drinkable water. Meeting friends who live an hour away in traffic. The only way to live a "semi-decent" life is to lock yourself in a private gated society with its own gym, walking paths, supermarkets, so you never have to step outside into the actual city. And I'm sitting here thinking: I worked my ass off for this? I'm supposedly in the top 1% by income in India, and this is what I get? It feels like India is only designed for the 0.001% who can afford their own bungalows with private gyms, water filtration systems, the whole nine yards. Everyone else is just... optimizing for the least shitty version of urban existence. Is this what I dreamt about when I was planning my future? Or is it just wiser to leave?

Ikea is far more than furniture but.. For all the talk of India consumption opportunity, this is the sad reality of even an affordable consumer brand here. Till the per capital income grows meaningfully, these brands will stay small and revenues will be paltry.
