The honest reason why I initially chose roguelike for Go Mecha Ball, was because I was scared to death of level design.
My half-joke-bro-guess is that this is true for 90% of roguelike devs.
Nowadays level design is slowly turning into one of the great joys of development

Had a major publisher approach me and offer 50%. When I countered and pressed for more information, their rep decided i wouldn't be a good fit.

@MattCowlin @mariosaputra my experience is similar, most revenue comes from 1 app, then several do something, the rest do nothing

I found this really interesting from @mariosaputra so I did the same.
Last year:
- 40% Of my Revenue came from 1 app
- 24% From another app (65% from 2 apps)
- A solid 1/3 of my revenue comes from "Failures"
78 Apps made money
Not sure if this is good or bad!
