@GhostofSwiftH Horse to follow out of that race for sure. Just had no clue how to race. Look at the jockey around the turn he’s comfortable and trying to teach the horse rather then just ride and hope. He’s on the wrong lead late and had a horse falling back into him, learnt a lot in that.

Inexperienced horse. His only 3 start Tucked inside. He still doesnt know whats going on. Then when Junior angled out his head was tucked like he is trying to understand what jockey wants him to do. Then Commandment came on outside and was unsure to split. He finished ok

@Mathewforthh Channon hauled in another owner to keep Sarab Star for £200k. Chancellor form looks warm now and his run style is perfect for the all weather especially Kempton/Lingfield. Big danger Haggas horse is expected to be a Buckingham Palace type but after a year off won’t be ready imo.

Going for the hat trick in this race. James Doyle 5/5 on the horse, well beaten in both races prior to the 2024 and 2025 race, both in December, and well beaten this year in January. Exact same prep, and the entries aren't great for this one. Should be 3/3

Hahahahah if Royal Champion is the fourth best horse in the world (albeit that has ran this year) then I am a unicorn. All you have to do is sneeze in the northern hemisphere and boom ++++ rating 🙄 #racing

@HelFisher23 Didn’t make much sense to me to be fully wound up for that race anyway, looked like he had improvement to come pre-race. They’ve got a lucrative stud deal, they’ve got an Everest Slot. Obviously being set to peak for it.

The hate to Private Harry and owners/connections is wild to me. Characters are good for racing like that. So he didn’t win, still a good horse that we have a lot to tap into there!

Honestly going to be in the minority here but Buckaroo has taken off 700m out and has served it up to the field. Has been found out late, needing the run. I don’t think they’ll meet again before any potential cup runs but Buckaroo is flying! Turnbull next?!

MELBOURNE CUP UPDATE Aftermath & Mount Kilimanjaro have not made it through the first ballot for the 2025 Melbourne Cup G1 Scandinavia remains as Ballydoyle's only candidate for the race he is currently ranked number 7 he is guaranteed a run should he pass all the tests. 👇 Personally I'd love to see him not go he will be a massive player in the staying division next season would rather him go for the Prix Royal Oak or British Champions Long Distance Cup. @IamRoweey @aobrienfansite I focus on Ballydoyle because that was the discussion we were having .. why is Ballydoyle seriously risking the health of their young stayers in an attempt to win a 2 mile handicap for older horses. Your 3 examples just add further weight to my argument that it is not worth it.

@aobrienfansite I was happy Jan Brueghel was not allowed to run last year as a 3yo because he is sound and would not have won the Coronation Cup had he run. Apart from the 2 Ballydoyle horses who died during the race, two 3yo Cup placegetters (Tiger Moth, Il Paradiso) only had 1 subsequent run.
