My PNB account belongs to a branch in Uttar Pradesh, not Delhi. I contacted my home branch to reactivate my dormant account, and they told me over the phone that I could visit my nearest PNB branch. @pnbindia @FinMinIndia @RBI They keep doing deduction from my account for their services like Debit Card annual charges, messages charges, amount is being credited to my account they can't keep active my account. I then visited the PNB Preet Vihar branch in Delhi, but they initially asked me to visit my home branch in Uttar Pradesh. After some discussion, they changed their response and asked me to visit another branch. Finally, they asked me to submit my Aadhaar card, PAN card, and a passport-sized photograph, but informed me that the reactivation process would take around two weeks. I chose not to submit the documents because such a long timeline seemed unreasonable. They also said they have a large backlog of pending KYC requests. It is disappointing that such a basic banking service still takes two weeks in the digital era. This reflects poorly on both Digital India initiatives and PNB's customer service. The entire experience has been frustrating and highly unsatisfactory. Strange banking experience with PNB.
