One of our members just made a very good point I would be extremely surprised if there was not an activist investor circling $PYPL right now This has Elliott Management wrote all over it

Hey $PYPL, Recently, I've transferred some money to India using the bank deposit. According to @PayPal the money should be deposited by 26th December. The money is not deposited so far and so I wrote a email to customer service but no luck so far. Please share what's the current status of my transaction. PayPal is really a painpal 😌

@Iam_rouble @acce And the $PYPL ad manager is only a portion of the ad revenue opportunity they are pursuing. If they don’t accelerate the buyback, I’d like to see them bolt on a small acquisition to bolster the upside of this business.

$PYPL Per the Mark Grether interview below, $PYPL launched ads manager for SMBs more than two weeks ago. This is notable and ahead of schedule which projected early 2026. This is positive news and potentially market moving. @acce why wouldn't this be announced in a press release? Let me know if others have thoughts or input on this.

@xwallstx @acce I dnt see they are going to go out of business in next 10 years So assume they keep the buyback at the same rate we all will be millionaires if we dnt sell the shares.. as company is still producing 5 billion in net income

$PYPL We need more interviews like this one. It's great to hear that PayPal is ahead of schedule on some of their advertising products, and sold out! Hopefully we'll get a good read on advertising in Q4 earnings.

$PYPL This is a GREAT interview from Dr. Mark Grether. Pay attention on minute 3:40. So... PayPal Ads Manager for SMBs was launched two weeks ago? Wasn't it supposed to be in 2026? That is awesome. A few interesting things Dr. Grether mentioned: "For us, it's about helping them (SMBs) monetize eyeballs, we help them to make money which then they can choose to reinvest into lower prices, more advertising, or maybe they just take a few more dollars home" "On Venmo, in October we were sold out in terms of the real estate we made available for advertisement. I was positively surprised on how interesting it is from an advertiser's perspective to advertise on Venmo" "We have a lot of conversations with our merchants where we say: if you basically implement PayPal, give us more presentment, it means we have actually more transaction data, which we can leverage to help you grow your retail media advertising business. We can not only help retails sell more, we can also help merchants make more money by improving their retail media business" This is BY FAR the best interview I've seen a PayPal executive give in a long, long time. This guy rocks. Very excited to see what's next for PayPal Ads 🙌 Thanks @Iam_rouble for sharing!

$PYPL: 60% of people who voted believe the stock is a buy and that it should be trading in the $70-80 range, if not higher. A few things that could get us there in 6-12 months: - Consumer spending picks up - Branded checkout growth returns to 4-5% - Venmo continues to grow at 20%+ - PayPal posts a double beat in Q4 - PayPal repurchases at least $1.5B in shares during Q4 - PayPal provides some color on how new initiatives will perform in 2026 (Ads, Agentic, BNPL growth) I personally don’t expect a big move in the coming months unless they decide to accelerate buybacks (which I don’t think they did) or consumer spending ticks up and PayPal regains the momentum it had going into/during Q3 earnings For now, no big news, no big stock moves, and not much to share. Happy Holidays everyone!! 🥂
Juan@JuanRodrig07

$PYPL if you were an analyst, what would your rating and price target would be for the next 6-12 months? Again, 6-12 months, not 2 years from now. I’d give it a $70 PT. Still lots of unknowns.

$PYPL Great to see Michelle Gill discussing agentic commerce and how PayPal is positioning itself to win in that space. A few interesting points she mentioned: "Over 40% of consumers will move the beginning of their shopping journey to chat services." “Merchants are trying to figure out how much time to spend being agentic-friendly, and it’s already a stretch because they have no time for anything.” "We're going to adopt all the protocols. Merchants don't have the time to try to pick a winner. They need to know that if there are specialized LLMs, they will be able to access them." Also, a few excerpts from the article about this conversation with Michelle: "PayPal aims to become the abstraction layer between merchants and every AI shopping surface. One integration that propagates to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, and whatever comes next. Orders flow back through existing infrastructure instead of requiring separate reconciliation systems for each platform." "The SMB angle is where this gets interesting. Gill’s argument is that without centralized infrastructure, large retailers will dominate early AI shopping integrations while small merchants get left behind." "The gap that already exists in digital advertising—where whoever spends most on ads wins—could get worse in AI commerce. But if discoverability shifts from search ranking to conversational AI, the economics change. Small merchants wouldn’t need to outspend competitors on AdWords to get discovered. An AI agent surfaces products based on fit, not ad budget." "The consumer trust piece is where PayPal thinks it has an edge. Gill draws parallels to the original eBay days: consumers didn’t want to give credit card details to random sellers in other states, so PayPal became the abstraction layer. Now it’s: consumers might not want their full payment credentials stored in an AI agent, so PayPal becomes that layer again." To me, it makes a lot of sense what she's talking about, the question remains whether that will play out within the next 1-2 years or will take longer than that.

$PYPL PayPal applied in Utah for an ILC banking license, which should be accretive as it makes their lending more efficient. $XYZ and $NNI went through this process, giving a better understanding of how long it may take. Block’s ILC timeline: • Filed: 2017 → 2018 (refiled) • Utah approval: Mar 2020 • FDIC approval: Mar 2020 • Launched: Mar 2021 ≈3.5 years. I would guess PayPal's approval would be quicker, as they're less likely going to need to refile (an advantage of not going first), and reduced red tape from the FDIC, but it's still likely around 2 to 2.5 years for a launch at earliest. That's why analysts haven't shifted on PainPal from this.

PayPal $PYPL PEG of 0.4 👀 One of the most underrated stocks of 2025 ✔️ PE 11.6x ✔️ EPS growth 28%, boosted by around 10% share buybacks If we get positive catalysts on growth, margins, or diversification, and with a strong technical setup, $PYPL could be one to watch in 2026 What’s your take?

$PYPL over 10 million shares traded in the last 30 minutes of trading today. Over 26 million shares traded total, the highest since October 30. Again, no idea what this means, but I feel like we’re about to see this thing move aggressively in the coming months.
