I went into Pret-a-Manger in London to buy my breakfast & was shocked Handed over a tenner & the server took 30 seconds to check it for being fake. I said to him, ‘do you get a lot of fake money here’? And he said, ‘you would be shocked… Not only do we get a lot of fake money, but people start fights with us when we check money. So now we have to wear body cams’. Body cams in fucking Pret-a-Manger for buying toasties & coffee. This is the real state of London and the UK. This is not doom mongering, this is the reality & it’s getting worse

@airlinerslive I don’t fly easyJet because their seats are already too hard. Being in the seat for 4 hrs plus to the Canaries for example, not o.k. Might be just acceptable for a short hop to Amsterdam, but that’s about it.

🟠 easyJet To Introduce Ultra-Slim Seats By 2028 ✈👇 easyJet has announced a major cabin upgrade, revealing plans to install ultra-lightweight and ultra-thin Kestrel economy seats on all future Airbus A320neo and A321neo deliveries starting in 2028. Developed by British manufacturer Mirus Aircraft Seating, these new fixed-recline seats are constructed from carbon fibre, making them 20% lighter than the models currently flying. This weight reduction will remove up to 500 kilograms from larger aircraft, which results in a projected annual fuel saving of nearly 13,000 tonnes for the airline. While the seats will not physically change the distance between rows, their slim design and fixed 22-degree angle will provide passengers with up to two extra inches (5 cm) of legroom. However concerns linger around the comfort of these seats, as low-cost airlines seats are not known as comfortable to begin with, especially for those flights over a few hours in duration. This is bad. Very bad. There should be no financial incentives for stuff like this. As an example, I do a Flap 3 landing wherever I can. But there are certain runway configs where I can’t do it. So I lose my bonus because of decisions by ATC? What compromised choice do I then..
