My frustration is that in that moment, with a guy so vocal about missing playoffs, being the highest paid, I expected a better attempt. He panicked.

I guess my view of this chance, given the context of the game, is that if he didn’t score, whatever else happened doesn’t matter. At this point in the season, it’s a non-negotiable

I wasn't sure watching it live, from replay. But per a source w/access to private data, Travis Konecny's breakaway shot WAS on net. Andersen stopped it. Puck changed direction & trajectory just before passing the goal line. Still a missed opportunity. But he didn't miss the net.

This is issue number one that needs addressing this offseason. They become a mid-ranking special teams unit and they’ll continuously make playoffs. Them being last in the league 5 years in a row is just unacceptable.
