@feelthinkdo3399 @PsychToday Personality by definition is generally quite stable over the lifespan, but that doesn't mean it cannot ever change. Extreme psychological intervention or events can change personality (head injuries are a straightforward one). Far easier to change behaviour than personality.

The results of the research are in, and they're very encouraging for our capacity to have challenging conversations about controversial topics. And if you want to see how your perceptions compare to the general population, the quiz with instants results is still open:

My second piece describes the results of a study by me and @IanSMacRae, which looked at our conversations about politics and their effects on social connection. We've been working on this for a few months and I'm thrilled to be sharing what we found: bbc.com/future/article…

Thanks for re-sharing! It’s great to see how the ideas we discussed a few years ago are coming through in my work and writing today!

@0xDesigner The UK is working on this right now, to define crypto and nfts it as personal property: gov.uk/government/new… That would mean if you/your property is in the UK when stolen, they have jurisdiction.

a 7-figure nft is stolen by someone in a different country than the owner. which entity claims authority over the crime and under what jurisdiction? this obv rhetorical but it’s just dawned on me that we might need new international legal frameworks for digital ownership.
