Apparently being the single most disrupted airport in the world, being in a state of emergency and official advice to avoid travel isn’t enough to get @Qantas to rebook me to connect through AKL tomorrow. Wild.

Apparently there is some flexibility, but you have to ask the same question 8 different ways to get there.

Today I learned that Air NZ's compassionate fares must be flown within 7 days of death. If a service is being held two weeks out, you pay full price.

Seriously though, at surely having several million tired/grumpy NZers driving around its a far greater risk to life than “strong currents and surges”

Preliminarily at mag 6.9. That's a decent jiggle. Off the coast a decent amount though and fairly deep.

Useful. @AdobeCare Creative Cloud thinks I'm signed in 9 times on my desktop and 3 times on my laptop, so I can't actually use the extraordinarily expensive software I pay for.

@maknz @ahmadnz @stevebiddle It’s not so bad if you take the daytime flights. Just the morning/evening ATR they ream you. Also you have to go on an ATR.

@stevebiddle @ahmadnz I was looking at an international route in June (coming home at the start of the holidays so shouldn’t be competing with families) and premium economy is cheaper than economy. Wut.
