@IanWraith @ElecNotes I think you may be correct. The top of the aluminium project box is nicely covered in what feels like linoleum. Front panel is well laid out.

Working on an old 80m TX from a SK sale. I reckon some of these components may be a bit obsolete though. @ElecNotes would have a field day in here.

Three Boeing KC-135R Stratotankers playing follow the leader to ??? from Bangor, Maine. The U.S. Air Force has a major refueling presence in Bangor, Maine, operated by the 101st Air Refueling Wing (often called "MAINEiacs") at Bangor Air National Guard Base. This unit operates KC-135 Stratotankers for in-flight refueling, supporting national defense missions.

@hotcaferacer @wipljw What came before GOLD81 though ? That was much noisier than the KC-135. I can only presume it was whatever they had dragged across the Atlantic.

@SY_Supertram Yes my First driver has just accepted my tram ticket. But perhaps you should just tell people no trams are running. Certainly nothing is going through Gleadless Townend.

@IanWraith There are currently issues network wide, tram tickets will be accepted on first services.

The operational issue has now been resolved, the Blue route is starting to resume normal service with delays, however on the Purple route, the 07:43 Herdings Park to Cathedral is cancelled.

@eugyppius1 Of course the journo on the plane could have confirmed the story by putting their phone by a window & seeing it found its position but that would have required lateral thinking.

This is an almost completely fabricated news item. The claim that the plane had to circle for an hour because of GPS jamming: Not true. The plane landed nine minutes late. The claim that the plane had to land with the help of paper maps: just invented. Amazing.

@uhf_satcom Brilliant to see it still up there. There used to be piles of those + the rx at every radio rally going for a song. It got me into sat TV. From memory you could watch a French music channel & a German channel showing 'interesting' films :)
