@pokeefe1 @always165cm @J13_thfc Had a lot of excitement about Lange, but he just doesn't fit - didn't have the kahunas to negotiate bigger deals (probably played into why Levy, who loved doing that, hired him). Bergvall, Gray and (I believe) Odobert will be a solid legacy tbf

Dougie Freedman is their No1 choice. They have made contact but there are many variables to consider for him. His current deal is worth £3.5m a year

@PaulEmbery There are many things with much greater costs attached to them than this that we should question whether it's appropriate for the government to be spending money on

That is an eye-watering amount of money. Four years into the war, is it not reasonable to question whether our government should be committing such sums to the cause - especially given the state of our own economy - and also whether there shouldn't be a greater push to secure a peace settlement?

You know the whole ‘the championship will be fun, loads of random teams and new grounds’ thing… have you looked at the competition lately? It’s mostly all teams that have played in the PL fairly recently and deffo shithoused us at some point. Truly a nightmare.

People always ask about the missing vessels, the Vanguards. Whats funny and a bit scary is that they are perhaps the easiest RN vessels to track, as they are so few and so distinct. As an internet random casually looking at them coming in and out via twitter, I can easily see average patrol length and trends, to the point where I think I could tell you to within a week when the patrol sub will go out and the other come in.

@ztranche @NeonPoyiatzis @nad_THFC @SpursOfficial I agree. Populists in charge means only one thing - irresponsible spending. Gallagher decision a sign of the poor times. Thanks for sharing. Always appreciate your viewpoint.

We’re going to be okay. Although I’d prefer Daniel’s financial management for the C-ship. Plenty of liquidity levers to pull - particularly player sales and they’d need to rightsize wages and expenses. My biggest fear is not the financials. Having stadium revenue and asset value is huge. Worst case scenario they do 2nd Lien financing against the stadium but we’re nowhere in need of something like this. My biggest fear relates to the people making the decision. For now, you have the same executives. If they get the sack - which they should, then you have a very inexperienced board making decisions and that is a bit scary to me. They’ve proven their incompetence thus far.

EIGHT HUNDRED AND THIRTY ONE MILLION POUND IN DEBT!!!!! Yes, you read that right. Daniel Levy has royally screwed this club over. He will be a billionaire soon, all at the expense of @SpursOfficial Wait until you find out about all his shell companies. 🤦🏽‍♂️ Genius they said.

@pokeefe1 @simonyemane Your mention of Tudor being Paratici's idea was pretty insightful. Don't get me wrong, the structure within the club was likely completely b&ggered, but don't let those 'fixing' it make football decisions

@simonyemane gone from Frank the pragmatist to Dyche potentially and now landed at RDZ. The thought process and contrasting styles just indicates they've actually no strategic joined up thinking. This isn't a judgement by myself on RDZ's coaching abilities. It's just evidence they've no clue

This board keeps overvaluing tactical ability but undervaluing leadership and character when choosing coaches. You need both to sustain success long term. Ignoring this is how we ended up with Frank. De Zerbi is us making the same mistake all over again, just more expensive.

People seem to refuse to look at the facts when it comes to De Zerbi… they just see a “big name” and think it’s the best option - First manager in Brighton’s history to go winless in their first 4 matches in charge - Left Brighton because he fell out with Bloom over transfer strategy - Left Marseille because he threw toys out the pram and lost connection with dressing room - Is a massive hothead who squares up to players in training telling them to “call their agent and bring them here” Tottenham Hotspur is as unstable as it’s ever been in it’s history, and this appointment won’t make it better… there is absolutely nothing to suggest he is a long term solution

Personally I think we will offer de Zerbi the most one sided deal in football history. Im talking massive wages, a signing on fee, a keeping us up bonus and a lifetime supply of hair gel. Making him eventually cave and say yes.

Spurs sounded out Roberto De Zerbi to see whether he would join before the summer. As it stands, the Italian still remains inclined to wait, as revealed on @talkSPORT with @alex_crook. He remains a strong candidate to take the role permanently if Spurs avoid relegation. Prior to Atletico Madrid in the #UCL, Spurs made a list of up to eight interim bosses. These included Adi Hutter and Sean Dyche. Challenge with Dyche is offsetting his Nottingham Forest payoff which will end with new work, making him expensive. Spurs are prepared to pay a significant stay up bonus. Other names discussed are Robbie Keane, Chris Hughton and Harry Redknapp, none of whom have had contact as of Sunday lunch. Keane is also appreciated by Crystal Palace and hoping for a long-term role. Ryan Mason, Ben Davies, Glenn Hoddle and Tim Sherwood also discussed. One idea proposed is to have someone with a Spurs affinity on the coaching staff even if not the lead coach. Bruno Saltor will take training until a new appointment is determined. Although no one is lined up yet, Spurs feel prepared due to legwork done dating back to before their #UCL exit.⚪️

@selee442 @Zoomerjeet A western min would not appreciate the harmony and poise in this photo. To them, for most time after our independence, we were a land where the rajahs travelled on elephants while the poor lived hand to mouth. This image kind of reinforces that wrong stereotype.
