My lifelong passion for education has taken me on an incredible trip! I had the honor of witnessing the grand opening of a brand-new Dining Hall complex at Dr. Ida Girls Secondary School in Asango today. Let us continue to advocate for the girl child's future in all aspects.

It’s great that Min Piny Dr @IdaOdinga who’s been at forefront in agitating for the rights of women and mentored so many of us into leadership is in New York for #UNCSW.

Was glad catching up with Dr. @IdaOdinga at the sidelines of the UN #CSW67 in New York. Ida is one of the great women rights advocates who mentored many of us into leadership. As leaders, we have an obligation to mentor and support women as they advance in their careers.

It’s by Gods grace that we’ve had the privilege of time to witness and experience the inspiring contribution of Professor George Magoha into our and the lives of our children in his illustrious career. May his good deeds and values continue inspiring generations.

I visited @gladyswanga this afternoon in Homa Bay and had brief discussions with her and other county leaders present. I appreciate their warm welcome and the conversation on their policy objectives and development plans. We wish them well.

I am grateful to have spent part of my day with the people of Rarieda at Ruma Primary School for a Prayer and Thanksgiving event organized by their MP, @OAmollo

My first teaching job was at Highway Secondary School in South B. Visiting the school today brought back many fond memories from that time. I reminded the current sudents of the significance of being thorough in their studies. I wish all KCSE candidates the best of luck.

We are diverse yet we are one in our sovereignty as Kenyans. Let us appreciate one another and remain united. Happy Utamaduni Day.
