Admittedly, I find it hard to talk about my life, but here is a truth I want to share. I was not alive when Kennedy was shot. My mother took a train through Dallas I believe the day of or the day after the assassination of the President, on her way to southern Texas. She had my older sisters with her. She asked if she could get off the train and she proceeded to walk to the place where the crime was committed. She often told me how she broke down in tears crying over the loss of a man she did not know but admired. Much later, as teen I wondered, ‘how can one cry over a person they have never met?’ Yesterday God answered that question for me. We weep over the anguish of a family losing their husband, father or child. We weep because Charlie stood for what was right and moral. We weep because the sheer act of m*rder is inconceivable to normal people. We weep because our media white washes it and liberals celebrate it. We weep because we are human and heartbroken. We will carry on- but it is perfectly normal to feel sad. We are human, but never forget, God has us all in the palm of his hand!
