I've never said that we shouldn't get rid of the illegals. In fact, my stance prioritizes Idaho specific issues first (in-migration strains) while supporting border security and enforcement, without ignoring economic realities. It's a pragmatic Idahoans First approach: replace labor sources smartly, enforce the laws, and avoid policies that could tank production, raise food prices, or lead to lawsuits. In-migration is our number one problem. That is why we have overcrowded schools, overcrowded roads, strained infrastructure, and completely unaffordable housing.

Then there's me. I don't think my vetting process is going as well as it could be. I have my own morals and my own values and they don't fully align with the IDGOP. The one that really gets me is they oppose term limits. I do not. Government should not be a taxpayer funded retirement home.

The most infuriating part is that people who stand on principle and refuse to grin and bear the betrayal are already getting blamed and lectured. "You must vote for the lesser of two evils" and all that BS. Voting for federal candidates may be a waste of time, but principled people can't give up on state and local elections - especially the primaries.

I keep seeing claims that Idaho voters "overwhelmingly support" immigration crackdowns. But where's the proof? No public poll backs it. In fact Boise State's 2026 survey shows 53% think more ICE would hurt the ag economy and 85% want legal pathways for long-term dairy workers. Typical political rhetoric. "Everyone wants it!" with zero evidence. Assuming "the will of the people" without showing what people actually want. Ignoring real data that shows pragmatic, economy-focused views. Idahoans deserve honest debate with facts not rhetoric.

It doesn't have to be that way. Although the governor cannot mandate hiring Idahoans first he can offer incentives to do so. I'm sick of seeing all of our jobs go to other people that don't even live here while we have so many young people that can't find a good job let alone anywhere to live.

In-migration is legal and it's crushing Idaho's roads, schools, water, housing, and services built for far fewer people. Blaming immigration for all of our problems dodges the domestic boom we're facing and the stress that has put on all of us. My priority is to tackle Idaho problems first. We don't have the problems here that they have in blue cities. We are not a sanctuary state. Our sheriff's work with ICE officers and border patrol without signing any kind of agreement. Idaho needs to focus on Idaho problems not blue state issues.

Litter has to stop in Idaho! Our state boasts stunning mountains, rivers, forests, and open spaces that define who we are. Trash scattered along roads, dumped in parks, on public lands, or tossed from vehicles destroys that beauty, endangers wildlife, pollutes water sources, and wastes taxpayer dollars on cleanup. It is a clear sign of disrespect for our communities and our future. I am passionate about this issue because Idaho deserves pristine lands and responsible citizens. We can end litter without sending people to overcrowded jails or overwhelming courts with minor cases. The solution is strong financial and personal accountability: start fines at $1,000 minimum, require mandatory community service, and use wage garnishment for non-payers. Current laws are too lenient for deterrence.
