If both parents are IAS officers, living with power, salary, security and influence, then why should their children still take reservation benefits meant for the truly struggling? Even the Supreme Court has now openly questioned this system. Reservation was created to uplift the backward, not to create a permanent VIP pipeline for the same families generation after generation. In a country where lakhs of poor students fight for one seat, this debate was long overdue. Real social justice means helping the last person in the line, not protecting privilege in the name of social justice. Political parties stayed silent for years because vote banks matter more than fairness. India does not need fake equality. India needs honest reform. Merit and genuine need both deserve respect.
