It’s no accident that Diwali, the festival of lights, happens when the days are getting short. It was an honor to host our second Diwali celebration at the Governors Mansion today. It’s a reminder that while live in a broken world - light is always more powerful than darkness.

@ruckusofantioch I really encourage staying for a long period at a monastery. Visit multiple monasteries. I thought I was called to the monastic life for a time. I lived at a monastery for 6 months to discern my vocation. I loved the monastery but monasticism wasn’t my calling.
