My students asked me if it was true that the entire Internet was really coded by hand. All those kernels, protocols, router firmware, browsers, databases, etc. Somebody coded these and debugged them by hand?!?!? They used BBEdit?!?!??! The idea that this was even possible seems amazing to them. I can imagine some future Moon Landing like conspiracy theory that says it never happened.

One of the best decisions I have made for myself and my health is to never even have a sip of alcohol or do any kind of drugs. I have been sober for 31 years and I will never change it. I enjoy not having any health issues and want to avoid doctors for as long as I can.

Smartwings is the nicest low-coaster (Czech company btw) They checked in my extra luggage for free, they have clothes hangers on seats, chargers, pretty spacious seats and pockets on seats I love complaining about airlines so I also want to communicate when I’m pleased :)

Writing about conflicts requires honesty. I have readers who stopped reading my posts a while ago because they disagreed with my views on the Ukraine war, and who have now returned to follow me. I also have American readers who are my friends and curse me out about three times a day. Some unfollow me and then come back after a few days. Writing about conflicts means knowing that I will frustrate some people at times, but I have to be honest with everyone and with my own conscience. When the source of information is honest, people can tell that even if they’re not reading exactly what they wanted, they’re looking at something serious that deserves reflection. Every day I read several analysts I disagree with on many points, but they are honest and I’m very interested in their opinions. Disagreeing enriches us, as long as it is also done with honesty and good sense by those receiving the information.

What custodians or banks offer Bitcoin escrow or credit solutions to protect buyers for transactions that are not physically immediate? This is an area where the fiat world has processes but Im unaware of such for Bitcoin
