@dansemperepico Now try to guess why all top IT (mainly sec) guys are driving old cars w/o electronics and using wired only "tech" in da house?

I hate driving my BMW since I got my Tesla.
It's just such a good hassle-free daily driver car.
I get angry that when I park my BMW I have to put it in park, put the handbrake on, turn the engine off, open the door, close the door, and lock the car all myself. Plus I have a ginormous key to carry around.
With Tesla I can just unbuckle my seatbelt and open the door and it does everything else automatically as I walk away (yes even shutting the door by itself).
I sat at BMW for 1.5 hours today while they changed my windscreen wipers, meanwhile Tesla is coming to do mobile service at my house this week to change one of the trunk motors.
Pretty sure Tesla has ruined all other cars for me unless I get something really special like a porsche/lambo/ferrari/aston one day.

@petr_novotny Tak este nam par narativov, ktore vsetkych prekvapia, ostava, namatkou:
- Tehla je istota, vzdy porastie.
- S&P ide dlhodobo vzdy hore.
- Stat nemoze zbankrotovat a preto jeho dlhopisy, fiat mena etc su istotou.
- Peniaze v bankach su safe.
...

Posledních pár let je pro trhy#investory jedna velká lekce z pokory. Ropa nemůže spadnout do záporu. Stalo se. Rusko bude pro Evropu vždycky spolehlivý dodavatel plynu. Nebylo. Hormuz je moc důležitý na to, aby ho někdy fakt zavřeli. No, a už je to tady. #akcie #ropa #zemniplyn #iran #energetika youtu.be/2a6K9873wto?si…

@stats_feed Attended all olympiads you can imagine on all school levels (adn win many of them). We've been working with many dangerous substances esp. on chemical and biological olympiads not to mention many we created just for fun in free time. Purely statistically, I am many times dead...

@absurdtrader Nechodim do snobskych podnikov, problem solved. Jedlo zle alebo pomer cena kvalita je zly, obsluha na figu a sedia tam obvykle stare baby - esteticky zazitok 0. Co tam budem robit?

@sciencegirl Do not want to pretend to be an expert, but what about: "group of snakes"?
English

@beautyshowcase Hehe, sure. Better get some math class to know what the "average" mean 😉

@HowThingsWork_ It seems like potentially ultimate treatment for any problem! 😂

@hispanicnomad Man, you are usually paying $5-6 for a coffee in Prague! Not to mention bad weather now 😂

The only reason people move to Dubai is taxes 🇦🇪
That’s it. That’s the whole secret
Nobody is moving there because they love the 45°C summers, the nightlife culture, or paying $4 for a coffee in a mall
They’re moving there because their government is taxing them at 50%+ and Dubai says “come here, pay 0%”
Hard to beat that tbh
Now imagine if ANY European country actually did this properly & had good marketing:
🇦🇩 Andorra already has ~10% tax. It’s literally 2 hours from Barcelona. Mountains, Catalan culture, ski resorts, cheap everything… and Europeans still don’t move there because nobody talks about it. One decent marketing campaign and it fills up overnight
🇨🇿 Czechia; Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Incredible food, central Europe location, amazing nightlife, real culture. Corporate tax is 21% but self-employed structures can get you much lower. If they created a real nomad-friendly flat tax of 10-15% and promoted it aggressively? Game over for Dubai
And imagine if the truly popular places like Spain or Italy did this properly. They’d become powerhouses
I mean… Paraguay 🇵🇾 is able to do this and it has so many things against it. But it lures you in with low taxes, and Europeans who discover it never go back
The demand for “leave your expensive country” is massive
Dubai understood this. They sold a lifestyle AND a tax break. That’s why it won
Every country that creates a real fiscal incentive for location-independent workers and actually promotes it will capture thousands of high-earning Europeans almost overnight
The opportunity is sitting there. Most governments just don’t care
