The example I use time and time again is Brazil 1 Germany 7. Compare that to the Maracanazo match of 1950, which haunted Brazil for generations. Did the 7-1 really get under their skin? I'm not sure it did. Embarrassing yes, but things quickly seemed to move on.

@Alex_snooker147 6-2 with two breaks over 50. Very different context, in a four-session final with Murphy flying. They played a high-level match in October and Murphy came out -just- on top. That Masters win definitely gives Wu belief and it should, but…

Think Wu has few problems against Shaun. Firstly, his safety play is just no good, never the cue-ball was anywhere near that baulk cushion tonight. And he always plays safeties on the thin side, not very comfortable with putting side on them I noticed.
