Congratulations, Sir @PeterObi. We wish you the very best in NDC. Since we are all in opposition, no malice at all. However, I wish you had stayed in ADC to contest a proper primary with H.E @ChibuikeAmaechi and Gov. Seyi Makinde. That would have been a true test of strength and popularity. ADC is clearly going South, and Amaechi remains the undisputed G.O.A.T in this race. By the way, there’s already a pending leadership crisis in NDC, one National Legal Adviser for both APM and NDC, and the party was registered via court order. Tinubu will surely find a way to vacate that order soon. Anyway, safe journey, Sir. We move. #Amaechi2027

Fellow Nigerians, good morning. I woke up this morning after my church service with a deeply reflective heart, and despite every constraint, I felt compelled to share these thoughts with you. Many people do not truly understand the silent pains some of us carry daily—the private struggles, emotional burdens, and quiet battles we face while trying to survive and serve sincerely in difficult circumstances. We now live in an environment that has become increasingly toxic, where the very system that should protect and create opportunities for decent living often works against the people—a society where intimidation, insecurity, endless scrutiny, and discouragement have become normal. More painful is when some of those you associate with, believing you would find understanding and solidarity among them, become part of the pressure you face. Some who publicly identify with you privately distance themselves or join in unfair criticism. We live in a society where humility is mistaken for weakness, respect is seen as a lack of courage, and compassion is treated as foolishness—a system where treating people equally is questioned simply because you refuse to worship status, tribe, class, or power. Personally, I have never looked down on anyone except to uplift them. I have never used privilege, position, or resources to oppress others, intimidate the weak, or make people feel small. To me, leadership has always been about service, sacrifice, and helping others rise. Let me state clearly: my decision to leave the ADC is not because our highly respected Chairman, Senator David Mark, treated me badly, nor because my leader and elder brother, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, or any other respected leaders did anything personally wrong to me. I will continue to respect them. However, the same Nigerian state and its agents that created unnecessary crises and hostility within the Labour Party that forced me to leave now appear to be finding their way into the ADC, with endless court cases, internal battles, suspicion, and division, instead of focusing on deeper national problems and playing politics built more on control and exclusion than on service and nation-building. Even within spaces where one labours sincerely, one is sometimes treated like an outsider in one’s own home. You and your team become easy targets for every failure, frustration, or misunderstanding, as though honest contribution has become a favour being tolerated rather than appreciated. And when you choose to leave so that those you are leaving can have peace, and you step out into the cold, you are still maligned and your character is questioned. Despite all your efforts to continue working for a better Nigeria and engaging people with sincerity and goodwill, those who do not wish you well continue to attack your character and question your intentions. There are moments I ask God in prayer: Why is doing the right thing often misconstrued as wrongdoing in our country? Why is integrity not valued? Why is the prudent management of resources, especially when invested in critical areas like education and healthcare, wrongly labelled as stinginess? Why are humility and obedience to the rule of law often taken to be weakness rather than discipline? Let me assure all that I am not desperate to be President, Vice President, or Senate President. I am desperate to see a society that can console a mother whose child has been kidnapped or killed while going to school or work. I am desperate to see a Nigeria where people will not live in IDP camps but in their homes. I am desperate for a country where Nigerian citizens do not go to bed hungry, not knowing where their next meal will come from. Yet, despite everything, I remain resolute. I firmly believe that Nigeria can still become a country with competent leadership based on justice, compassion, and equal opportunity for all. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

Good morning, Kelvin. Enugu Air operates 20 daily return flights from Lagos to Abuja, Benin, Asaba, Enugu, Owerri, Port Harcourt, and Warri. Each aircraft carries at least 70 passengers. Estimated revenue: 70 passengers × 20 flights × ₦120,000 fare = ₦168 million in gross revenue per day. In addition, Enugu Air operates 4 daily return flights from Abuja to Enugu and Warri, with each aircraft also carrying at least 70 passengers. Estimated revenue: 70 passengers × 4 flights × ₦120,000 fare = ₦33.6 million in gross revenue per day. Combined gross revenue from the Lagos and Abuja hubs: ₦168 million + ₦33.6 million = ₦201.6 million per day. If net profit is ₦100 million per day, then over 90 days: ₦100 million × 90 = ₦9 billion. This is a rough estimate. Note that fares can sometimes exceed ₦120,000, and some aircraft have a capacity of up to 100 passengers. Taking these factors into account, it is plausible for @EnuguAirlines to generate an average of about ₦11 billion per quarter.
Kelvin Novo@KelOnovo

₦11.59 billion in 90 days that’s ₦128.7 million per day. Meaning every seat, on every flight, every single day for 90 days, must have sold at top-end pricing. No empty seats. No maintenance days. No cancelled flights. Anybody wey sabi how airline business work go tell you say this kind number no fit add up. Three simple questions for ESIRS. 1.Break down the ₦11.59bn how much was ticket sales, how much was charter, how much was government MDA bookings, and how much was capital transfer from the state to the airline? 2.What were the actual passenger figures and load factors for Enugu Air in Q1 2026?

NEW: More gains of strategic connection to the centre, as President Tinubu directs the installation of solar-powered street lights from Enugu all the way to Onitsha. Truth be told, Tinubu has done a lot for Enugu under the visionary leadership of Governor Peter Mbah. And Engr Dave Umahi is unarguably the best ever performing Minister of Works. Ndi Enugu are increasingly seeing the clear benefits of aligning with the party at the centre of national power and politics. • Under President Tinubu's administration, the South East Development Commission was established, with headquarters in Enugu. • President approved the concession of the Akanu Ibiam International Airport, including the completion of the abandoned international terminal and the construction of a new cargo terminal, finally making the airport truly international and not merely in name. The first Nigerian airport to be successfully concessioned. • President Tinubu, chairing the Federal Executive Council, approved ₦24 billion for the construction of the 82 Division/Abakpa Junction Flyover in Enugu. • The President also approved the immediate and expedited reconstruction of the collapsed twin New Artisan Bridge. • President Tinubu gave approval for the speedy construction of Eke Obinagu Flyover, Emene, arguably the longest in the South East, in support of the dualisation of the 21.7km Abakaliki Road from the Airport Flyover to the Ebonyi State border by the Peter Mbah administration. • The President approved the continued funding of the reconstruction of Enugu - Onitsha Expressway. See the transformation of the stretch from Abakpa Junction to Trans Ekulu flyover towards 9th Mile and beyond. • President Tinubu approved the ongoing dualization of the 9th Mile – Opi Nsukka - Obollo Afor – Oturkpo highway after decades of neglect and abandonment. • The President approved the release of funds for the continuation of the reconstruction of the Enugu–Port Harcourt Expressway. • President Tibunu appointed an Enugu son, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ikechukwu Ogalla as the Chief of the Naval Staff, and subsequently another Enugu son, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, as the Chief of the Air Staff. * Coming Soon: Presidential approval secured for key infrastructure projects in Enugu and the South East * Revitalisation of the Eastern Rail Line from Port Harcourt through Aba, Enugu, Ubahu, Eha Amufu, Oturkpo, Kafanchan, Kaduna, to Maiduguri. * Extension of gas pipeline to Enugu to power industrialisation across the state. • Let me stop for now. Doubters should please fact-check me. Dan Nwomeh in Enugu
