@wil_da_beast630 The context is that most men’s definition of a “normal-figured woman” is Sydney Sweeney. If she’s not Sydney Sweeney, then the man will make sure she knows that at every opportunity. Then, you wonder why so many women have peaced out on sex.

For about 30 years, homosexual pedophiles who controlled a captive women's and fashion media really did pitch a sort of "helpless frail waif," "hairless and odorless below the neck" vision of female sexuality. Normal men of all backgrounds ("Fat Bottom Girls," "Baby Got Back") always found this faintly ridiculous - but it was VERY prevalent.

I truly cannot fathom why a big butt would ever be seen as an unattractive feature… extra fullness in the hip area has always been a sign of health, fertility, and femininity, so exactly what is the appeal of a flat butt? I’ll never understand…

Yep. It's gotten beyond insane. We were officially informed that anybody who used the words "office hours" on their syllabi at any time in the past is a racist. Because black people have no way of knowing what the words mean, and people who use them do it on purpose to exclude blacks. And this is just one tiny thing.

@IllinoisProf @KeithNHumphreys This is of course is the hardest truth people don't want to reckon with. The DEI regime has built a totalitarian theocracy in academia so complete, to disagree with the cathedral is to face exile and banishment.

These anguished essays leave me puzzled as to why professors are puzzled as to what to do.. If students can't do the work then give them a bad grade to reflect that. End of. chronicle.com/article/my-stu…

@doc_gero @elonmusk This story is fishy because nobody gets the title of a professor, adjunct or not, without a PhD. With the master's, she can be a lecturer. Based on what she says about the salary range, that's what she was, a lecturer.

🙄From the any reasonable standard of enlightened self-interest, this person did literally *everything* wrong. So, because of her credulous midwit mind, this dutiful box-checker got flim-flammed into a dead end job & now she’s blaming everyone- including @elonmusk- but herself.

@DissentFu If you got a masters to become an adjunct professor you did everything wrong unless you already had family wealth. $100,000 in tuition to earn $3,000 a class (x 5 classes a semester). Math doesn’t math, so clearly that wasn’t part of your masters education

@IllinoisProf @PaulNiland Imagine how Russia would do without their major asset who was constantly claming Ukraine had no cards. He tried so hard to make Ukraine give up Donbass and Crimea, that even Putin blushed!

@IllinoisProf @PaulNiland Do... Do you think after 9/11 the CIA called up every agent and said "ey yo, we're invading Afghanistan, stop installing puppet dictators in that third world country and suit up"?

How did a Russian agent become Director of National Intelligence of the USA? I'm guessing there will be movies about it one day

@ChristineW7 @HSRdirector I don't see what's offensive about the question, though. The person asking it had no way of knowing without asking. People get unnecessarily touchy about the most anodyne interactions.

@HSRdirector Grrr I used to steam when I got questions like that too, you can't really clap back if it's an interview though. Ugh, there is no GAP, I grew and I learnt stuff.

@stupidcaveman @avidseries Exactly! Why this is so hard to understand is a mystery. People make culture. Without the people or with people swapped out for somebody else, the culture doesn't reproduce.

The implication here is that under 2 the American way of life will cease to exist but will somehow continue under 1. This is false because the American people are the source of the life it possesses. If they cease to exist (which is what 1 necessarily entails), then the way of life goes too.

A question for American rightwingers: Would you rather have (1) an equity-based "multicultural democracy" in which the clear majority of the population — and therefore the majority of elected officials — were composed of people with ancestry in historically and persistently under-performing groups (e.g., Somalis, Afghans, Congolese) from the "global south", or (2) a clear majority of the population be European, but governed by a foreign Chinese technocratic elite that valued efficiency and productivity (while tolerating most European cultural norms)?
Nemesis 2026@Nemtastic1

@airish1 @avidseries If you get rid of the CCP and Putin, but the West is still overrun by the global south and its own undeperforming domestic minorities, we still lose. Probably better to live under Chinese technocrats.

Which ones? Milei already was president before USAID was abolished. Venezuela still is ruled by the same party.

@aimeeterese Among many other things, the end of the USAID funding has done wonders for Latin America. Many Latin American countries have lost its terrible socialist politicians and moved on to elect normal people. Cutting USAID has been a huge benefit for humanity.

@IllinoisProf @richardbridd21 You've been nothing but idiotic this thread Ah, here's the explanation - for some reason you've tied your identity up in denying something obviously true and you're lashing out in a stupid way at anyone who makes you feel uncomfortable by pointing it out Stop doing that here

@seashell_luvr Incredibly weird to refer to a process completely inherent to a healthy, functional female body as "gender-affirming" in a derogatory way. I continue to fail to understand how rejecting motherhood, the single thing men can't do, is somehow empowering for women. Yes there are

People say “men must become, but women just are”. But I believe it’s actually imperative us women find a way to define ourselves and womanhood through ourselves, instead of through others, lest we live a toothless, cowardly, yet simultaneously narcissistic existence. We didn’t always have the liberty to do this, but now we do. And it is our responsibility.
Insurgent Squirter 💦@datredgyal

Motherhood is a gender-affirming, deeply male-centred process for a LOT of c!s(het) women. A LOT. Many c!s women do NOT want the reality of motherhood; they want a permanent gender marker, a status symbol and absolute power over a helpless being that depends on them for life.
