@Nikuw2137 Sadly it lacks AVX2 which is a big no-no in the modern age. But they don't care because the xx40 series and newer sucks according to them due to less upgradability.

We found a task where LLMs struggle massively!
Give them a coding problem in Python and they'd work great. Give the same problem in brainfuck and zero-shot their performance is ~0%

@disruptnhandlr -O3 could induce bugs as it is, -O2 is a good stable relelase, if you need anything more than that, use profile guided optimization but not -O3 and definitely not -O4; you should use your brain.

@hamburger317 fish is a fantastic beginner choice, it is batteries included and intuitive, small and nice. I do miss the features of zsh while using fish, but if you have never even experienced zsh on a competent level. Fish is as good as it gets!

as a relative newcomer to linux, should i stick with bash or should i try out zsh or fish?
i wanna try out fish for hopefully obvious reasons but it's also not posix compliant so maybe it'd be better if i just stuck with bash for a bit

Valve is currently in a weird connundrum:
1. They bought a bunch of cheap reject chips from AMD
2. They want to actually make return on their investment
3. They can't outright cancel the project and restart it at a later date with newer hardware(complete loss of money)
4. They can't delay it too much because the hardware already is not that impressive.
5. They have difficulty buying RAM/SSDs
