@DannyKvale Literally missed a flight a couple of weeks ago. Arrived 50 mins before flight and the line went all the way to the parking ramp. Got to the gate and the plane and walkway were still attached, but they wouldn’t let us on.

So I couldn’t pull the trigger not knowing if I’d be living in a van down by the river by July 21. This summer corn went over $7 and hogs above $130. Point is, this industry is not for the faint of heart.

Last June a neighbor called and said he’d sell 100,000 bushels of July 21 corn for 3.20. At the time we were only able to sell 20% of our contracted loads due to plants closing. We were working with the NRCS on a disposal site to dump hogs.
