I visited major stations on that route, contacted RPF/GRP, requested FIR, and filed complaint via 139. They only take details saying they’ll circulate it, but no proper action yet. He is medically unfit (has only one kidney).

Respected @AshwiniVaishnaw sir, my father Rajesh Shaw (age: 50 years) went missing on 18 Apr while traveling in Train 16597 (Amrit Bharat Express) from SMVT Bengaluru to Bardhaman, WB. He deboarded at an unknown station due to overcrowding. 🙏

When most people plan a holiday in India, the usual suspects come up: Goa, Himachal, Rajasthan. Jharkhand rarely features in that conversation. I plead guilty of that too. And then I bumped into these striking photos posted by @IndiaAesthetica about Meghahatuburu, a hill station in Jharkhand's West Singhbhum district, renowned as the "Hill of Clouds" due to its high altitude. Sitting 4,300 feet above sea level in the heart of the Saranda forest of 700 hills, it offers a sunset point, forest waterfalls, and a landscape that has remained largely untouched. Bare-bones tourist infrastructure. Very few resorts, many guesthouses. I did some more checking about Jharkhand and found it has Netarhat’s famous sunrises, Betla National Park, the sacred Jyotirlinga at Deoghar, the waterfalls around Ranchi, and the ancient Saranda forest itself. Somehow, it still gets overlooked. Jharkhand has much to offer the discerning traveller. It simply hasn’t shouted about it.

पैसों से पुस्तकालय बनाया जा सकता है, दस लौंडों की टीम बनाई जा सकती है, और रंगीन स्ट्रिप/हायलायटर से प्रिंटेड पेपर ले कर संसद में रंगीन किस्से सुनाए जा सकते हैं… पर ज्ञान नहीं खरीदा जा सकता। आप आँकड़े और तथ्य जुटा सकते हैं, पर विश्लेषण की क्षमता ज्ञान से आती है। दूबे जी, ऐसे पुस्तकालय इंटीरियर डेकोरेशन से अधिक कुछ नहीं होते। PS: इससे अधिक पुस्तकें मेरे पास फर्स्ट इयर में थी।

सौरभ द्विवेदी द्वारा अपने गांव में बनवाए गए पुस्तकालय की पूरे देश में चर्चा हो रही है क्योंकि हर क्षेत्र की नामचीन हस्तियों को सौरभ जी ने बुलाया था। कुछ लोगों का ये भी कहना है कि लाइब्रेरी बन गई, आस - पास के बच्चो का उससे फ़ायदा होगा लेकिन उसका इतना प्रचार करने की क्या ज़रूरत थी ? एक लाइब्रेरी का उद्घाटन शांति से भी हो सकता था, डिप्टी CM को बुलाकर शक्ति प्रदर्शन की जरूरत नहीं थी, ये सब नेताओ वाले काम है। सबकी अपनी अपनी राय है, मेरी कोई राय नहीं है।
