My @Swiggy stats vs reality: Total spent on Swiggy for this financial year: ₹43,032 Number of orders: 70 Average order value: ₹615 Since last week I walked into Punjabi Rasoi and had 4 full meals for ₹346 about ₹86 per meal with good quality and ambience. So the same food ecosystem becomes 7x more expensive once it enters the app economy. Between restaurant commission, platform fees, packing charges and delivery the customer ends up paying a massive premium. Is this convenience pricing or digital inflation? After spending ₹43K on the platform, customers at least deserve transparency — and maybe some loyalty compensation. @SwiggyCares

Just had a full meal at Punjabi Rasoi for ₹80 fresh, filling, genuinely good quality with good ambience. Then you open @Swiggy and see the same kind of meal priced at ₹400 after platform fee, packing fee, delivery fee, and taxes. Somewhere between the kitchen and the app, the price is five times. Are we living in the same city or in two different economies? One price for people who walk in. Another for people who tap a screen.
