From Sir Francis Drake singeing the King of Spain’s beard and smashing the Armada, to Nelson at Trafalgar one eyed, one armed, still charging straight into the enemy fleet with “England expects that every man will do his duty.” Those men built an empire on which the sun never set, they controlled the oceans, no one messed with these islands. Now the same senior service that once struck fear into every navy on the planet watches rubber dinghies full of unknowns paddle across the Channel like it’s a Sunday afternoon ferry service. The fleet that once blockaded continents can’t stop a few inflatable boats on our own doorstep. Imagine Nelson on the quarterdeck of HMS Victory right now, telescope in hand, watching another load of illegals land at Dover while the Navy’s tied up in diversity workshops and net zero targets. He’d turn in his grave so fast it’d power half the south coast, Drake would probably set fire to the lot of them and call it Tuesday. Britain had the greatest navy the world ever saw, I want it back.

Apparently, emails were being exchanged well into the early hours RE Wigan/Leigh. There's an emergency meeting taking place this afternoon. Speaking to multiple officials, I've not come across any who believe Leigh's stance is acceptable. 'Out on a limb' was used multiple times to describe their stance.

Absolutely YES ! Should have happened a long time ago.... Safe guarding the borders is their duty.... Not "escorting" them back to UK, but sinking their boats, taking them prisoner and dropping them back to their point of origin... + send the bill to the Nation that allowed them to use it's territory as their launch point...
