Mark Carney is very good at speaking but the path he’s leading Canada down is not aligned with what he says. In his Davos speech he was correct that large powers like the US cannot bully smaller allies into submission. He’s also correct that Canada is one of the best places for investment since we have critical minerals, natural resources, a highly educated population, etc. The problem is that while he says that, his government is the one getting in the way for investment to flow into Canada, it’s his own legislation that is stopping resources projects from being built, it’s his own tax policy that makes Canada uninteresting to invest in, he’s the one that currently won’t even be clear if he’ll build a pipeline. So that’s why I take what he says with a grain of salt, he says one thing but his actions reflect something else. He’s the king of flip-flopping on every issue and if he simply got out of the way then we could have a prosperous country.

Mark Carney needs to resign. He has completely mismanaged our relationship with President Trump with his arrogance and posturing. Threatening Article 5 of the NATO Treaty was an asinine bully move that threatened the entire western alliance. If Carney wants to be a Chinese Communist so bad he should move to Beijing.
