Last Sunday, which was Easter Day, I went out with my friends to have fun. We didn’t get back on time, and since my best friend lives closer than I do, I decided to stay over at her place. I called my boyfriend to let him know I wouldn’t be coming back that night because it was already late. He insisted that I tell him where I was so he could come pick me up, but I had already told my friend I would spend the night at hers. So I told him not to worry because it was dangerous and ended the call. I returned early the next morning, but since then, he’s been giving me attitude. He hardly talks to me and doesn’t even respond to my greetings. This evening, when I came back from work, I saw my bags packed and placed on the floor. I asked him what was wrong, and he said he had told his friends about what happened on Easter, and they told him I was cheating on him. Now he’s asking me to leave because he believes them. He even said I should go and stay with my friends since they’re more important. I was speechless. How can a full grown 30+ man be unable to think for himself and rely completely on his friends for judgment? Close to a week and he’s still upset about it. I have never cheated on him or given him any reason to think I would. This is just so unfair, to be honest.
