@tohellwithit1 @SaiekoVT @Morphologis It's not even difficult, you can learn to mine and go mine your first rock in a matter of 30 or so minutes. From YT to Rock. But if you want high tier, you gotta do a lot of searching. Its not hard, just time consuming. People are lazy.

@SaiekoVT @Morphologis If top tier materials and gear is too difficult and time consuming to get then hardly anyone will have them which would surely be worse from a testing and endgame stat point of view. It's like wiping ships, if it's done constantly then fewer people are testing the top tier.

I can see why some are turned off by Star Citizen crafted items. Crafting right now is a bit too time intensive if you want stats to be above +0. We had 43 people in a coordinated mining op going for 5 hours, of 215 combined hours, and only managed enough for 7 suits of armor with a minimum of 500 quality materials. IMO they need to lower the quality minimum to start achieving higher than 0 stats, or increase the spawn rate of 500+ materials. How have your experiences been?

@SaiekoVT I'm not talking about the highest quality stuff, the minimum we targeted was 550+, quality 500 is 0 stats and anything below that is negative stats. It was still a massive grind just to get above basic 0+ stats.

PSA: Crafting isn't hard, you're just lazy and dumb. It took me 30 hours since the start of the patch to build out a full 900+ quality kit. I hated ever minute of the grind, but it was in my opinion worth it. Anyone complaining simply doesn't want to put the time in, get good

@ImmersionBroke Have not been on them since 4.5, been mostly tied with events and time hasn't been on my side either. I keep up with 2 accounts so have to run most events 2 times. My main i run events solo for the challenge and alt i run with others.

@ImmersionBroke That I do not know Sir. Can only speak for myself, & I tend to not seek truble. If trouble comes my ways, I'm not too shy to defend myself either. I live in pyro & do love running CZs & most PvP sites, but I wouldn't call myself a PvPer, I enjoy stealth & just there for the loot.

@exemplaragnitor @Morphologis You have to understand the majority of people that flock to communities like Morph's are useless beyond measure. These "orgs" will waste 2 hours just getting ready before they do anything. More people is a hindering aspect when you can't control them

@ImmersionBroke @Morphologis Based on what I’ve seen in a few hours of effort this is more believable than the OP. Unless 30 or so of the people had never touched a mining ship, didn’t have their ship set up ahead of time, didn’t want to be there, and were mostly goofing off.

This PvP community is BEYOND scuffed. Last two days have opened my eyes a little bit about how truly fake it all is. It is mind games, manipulation, backstabbing, and some of the most cringe behavior I’ve seen in a community. I’ve been PvP’ing in this game for years and years at this point. But only in the last year have I really started to connect with a lot of these more well established groups, and wow…. Wow is all I have to say on the matter. Maybe it’s my glass half full mentality or the attempt of mine to bring a more positive light to the community and make it less about chat PvP and more about SC PvP… but I’ve just been disappointed, frustrated, and let down over and over again after repeated cases of horrible human behavior. Let’s get back to treating each other with some respect and dignity and not like scum and maybe there will be some light at the end of the tunnel. No it's not. It's not the easiest job ever, but I literally work full time AND stream, and if I could make a living wage streaming full time, I immediately would switch to it. There are difficulties for sure. But come on.
