@frank6669996669 Ambulances can use bus lanes and save precious time. The bus lane also supplies a lane for cars to move over for an ambulance to pass if it doesnt use the bus lane itself

You dont hate *drivers enough I asked a coworker who "supports public transit" if a bus lane that saves 10min for 13,000 riders but makes commutes 30sec longer for 8,000 drivers was a worthwhile trade and he said "no its unfair to drivers to delay them for bus riders"

I need examples of a US city with at least three pro sports teams where the NHL team is top two in fandom in the city. Boys here said Detroit, DC and Tampa. I think I’ll give them DC and Tampa, but contest Detroit. Some guys said Minnesota, I think Twins are bigger than Wild.

@djdroguedure It can if you live right by transit like millions of Americans do. The bus and green line post are directly outside my building. Theres many single family homes in American city suburbs that have transit stops right out front. Also try a short walk sometimes if able-bodied

Car brained people will never get it through their thick skulls that giving people actually usable alternatives to driving isnt forcing them to not drive, its supplying the option to actually have a choice between multiple convenient options to dictate what works best for them

No, you do not tear up a parking lot used by 15,000 cars 90 times a year. I don't care how much you like transit, that lot is incredibly useful to a lot of people and if you want to coerce them out of their chosen means of transportation you are an authoritarian menace.
