NEW: Springfield, Ohio man says Haitian illegals are decap*tating ducks from parks & eating them, accuses commission members of getting paid off for allowing it. “They're in the park grabbing up ducks by their neck and cutting their head off and walking off with 'em and eating them.” “Who is getting paid? Like how much money is y'all really getting paid? Like to bring them over here, like I know it's deeper than them.” Springfield is a town of about 60,000 people and has received about 20,000 illegals in the last four years.

The bottom line is that roughly the same number of illegal aliens are still trying to enter the country each month. They're just not doing it by crossing the border illegally. Instead the Biden Admin is breaking the law by granting them parole and giving them work permits.

@TheRealAstox @DisneyLorcana I can't speak for the devs, of course, but I'm pretty sure the "another" text in the Sceptre of Arendelle is necessary to distinguish it from the 'chosen' character receiving support. In other words, it's a second "choice", not necessarily a second character.

@DisneyLorcana Sceptre of Arendelle’s Support reminder text says that character adds its strength to ANOTHER chosen character, but Heihei and Merlin’s Support ability reminder text doesn’t say another, meaning you can choose to buff themselves. Which Support text is correct?

@kdpindc @zhoyoyo I have alot of friends here on H-1B, and I can't believe our restrictions against them are so awful. We need to lift the employment requirement for H-1B.

The dangers of the liquid from the male secretions are unknown. Dr. Jane Orient of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons told the Daily Mail: “We have no idea what the long-term effects on the child will be' if a breastfeeding trans woman uses 'all kinds of off-label hormones.”

The CDC has endorsed and provided guidance for men who think they're women to chemically induce breast discharge to feed children. This is sick. And dangerous for babies. [Thread]

I oppose the teaching of LGBTQ concepts before 5th grade. I oppose teaching most sexuality-related concepts before 5th grade. Americans are with me on this: 62% of us don't want LGBT books taught in elementary school. Not because of "homophobia." We support gradualized sex ed.

@JxhnBxnder Disappointing news to hear. Most economists agree that the average American would be better off if much more low-skill immigration were allowed into the country.

Establishment media shocked to find out Americans dislike increased housing prices, wages that can’t keep up with the cost of living, more traffic on the roads, packed public schools.

@wendelltalks I'd certainly agree that Jesus probably existed, but I think you overstate the evidence. 1. We have no eyewitness accounts of anything in Jesus' life. 2. Josephus seems to merely be reporting what he's heard about Christians (40 years after Jesus' death).

Suppose there was another country that would welcome you. It has been at peace for a century and you don’t have to learn a new language. How much of a raise would be necessary to induce you to move there for 5 years?

@StrongBordersTX The first two directly take my private property without my permission. Immigration doesn't do that (even illegal immigration). The last one isn't even illegal. Even if I knew someone to be a convicted thief, I would be a fool to legally ban them from my neighborhood.

You wouldn't allow a thief taking your belongings, You wouldn't allow a trespasser inside your home, You wouldn't want them to be your neighbor, So why do we let illegals enter our country, drive up the cost of living, and allow them to take services from citizens?

Refugees are not migrants. Migrants are not refugees. All have rights that must be respected, but we should not conflate the two. Refugees have the right to seek asylum and to international protection from persecution and violence.

@NumbersUSA That's very low, when you consider per-capita rates. Immigration to the United States was much larger in the past.

While Open Borders radicals might tell you the America is nothing more than a mere “nation of ideas.” Not so. Our nation is meant to serve the interests of real people living in a real place with a history, culture, and heritage.

@christianbrits I don't think that line of argument is approaching the idea in good faith. Obviously ebikes either have differences with cars, or have perceived differences that would make people less likely to buy them. They can't replace cars in all cases, but in many cases, they can.

@JonFeere @latimes Because "stoop labor" means human beings get paid? When I see restrictionists argue for decreasing immigration as a means of encouraging more automation, it seems like an implicit admission that the goal is not more citizens working in fields, but rather fewer foreigners.

re: "automation is great but we still need people to pick strawberries" False. Here's the @latimes on automation in strawberry harvesting: latimes.com/business/story… How about investing in automation instead of promoting stoop labor?
villi@villi

@dwightcrow You need everything. Sure, automation is great, but we still need people to pick strawberries, build homes, and work in restaurants. The daily cost for a worker in construction in CA is $1K all inclusive. And we still don’t have enough people to work.
