Co-sign. The federal government needs to end the program completely, but in the meantime these are concrete steps we can take as a state to end H-1B abuse in Texas.

🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨 TX AG Ken Paxton has written a letter to the Collin County commissioner calling on them to REJECT any applications submitted by the developers of the East Plano Islamic Center project and The Meadow Phase 1. This follows Paxton's recent lawsuit seeking to invalidate the allegedly unlawful annexation of land. According to Paxton's office, that annexation was carried out specifically to help the EPIC City development bypass required state regulatory review and oversight. In the letter, Paxton highlights that the Commissioners Court has already declined to approve the project's platting application because of significant shortcomings. He strongly encourages them to maintain this stance, citing numerous serious legal issues surrounding the development—including alleged violations of securities law—that make approval inappropriate.

What a load of crap, @SenatorDurbin! As you well know, immigration enforcement is CIVIL, not criminal. @ICEgov and @CBP play by the civil enforcement rules that YOU put in the law. Your goal is to shut down immigration enforcement altogether, and we all know it.
