When RBI, LIC, and all major financial markets work 5 days a week, why are PSB employees still forced to work 6 days? Digital banking runs 24x7; it's time the work schedule reflects that. Implement #5DaysBanking now! #Implement5DayBanking

Comparison with Pakistan? Seriously!
Nirmala Sitharaman Office@nsitharamanoffc

What is happening in Pakistan? 200% hike on high octane fuel, 20% hike on petrol and diesel happened overnight. Petrol now is sold at 321 PKR a litre. Smart lockdowns announced in Sindh province, so that their fuel can be conserved. Restricting movement, gatherings and public events. Schools are shut for two weeks. Government offices have moved to four day working week. Private offices told to shift 50% staff to work from home. We're not doing any of it. Still some leaders are spreading rumours that there will be lockdown. This rumour mongering should not happen. It's being done to spread fear. Markets and shopping centres are ordered to be closed by 9.30 PM in Pakistan. These are all the media reports. All universities shut down and shifted to online learning in Bangladesh as there's no electricity. Five hour rotational power cuts are happening. Implemented for domestic consumers in the city of Dhaka. Fuel station across Dhaka closed due to shortage of octane and diesel. So, the situation across the world is not good. We're managing in a way that our citizens don't face any difficulty. There's a contrast in price I want to say. In India, nothing has changed. Whereas in Pakistan, plus 20% to plus 200% price depending on petrol, diesel, high octane etc. Bangladesh has rationed stations closed, supply cut 10 to 15%. Excise duty action, we have cut Rs. 10 per litre. Neither Pakistan nor Bangladesh have responded. So, India among these neighbourhood countries is maintaining a level of stability. We're following Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji's guidance on the same. - Smt @nsitharaman in Rajya Sabha

In view of the West Asia crisis, the central excise duty on petrol and diesel for domestic consumption has been reduced by ₹10 per litre each. This will provide protection to consumers from rise in prices. Hon. PM @narendramodi has always ensured that citizens are protected from vagaries of supply and costs of essential goods. Further, duties have been imposed on exports of Diesel at ₹21.5 per litre and on ATF at ₹29.5 per litre. This will ensure adequate availability of these products for domestic consumption. The Parliament has been notified about the same.

As the world is reeling under fuel shortages amid the West Asia crisis, driving up prices globally, the Modi government's decision to cut excise duty on fuel brings much-needed relief to citizens.  While many nations have hiked diesel and petrol prices, Modi govt’s decision to reduce excise duty underscores its people-centric governance and sensitivity-led decision-making. Kudos to PM Shri @narendramodi Ji for this decision.

🚨 IDFC First Bank & Kotak Bank fraud cases one common thread: CHANDIGARH & PANCHKULA Haryana Government departments Now anyone can connect the dots. Let me be clear: I am NOT supporting any fraudsters. But there are serious questions that cannot be ignored. Why were large amounts of government funds parked in private banks like @IDFCFIRSTBank and @KotakBankLtd ? Who authorized these decisions? What due diligence was done before transferring public money? Public funds are not private property. If there is any lapse, accountability must be fixed whether at the bank level or within government departments. Something doesn’t add up in Haryana, and it deserves a transparent investigation. @cmohry @DFS_India @FinMinIndia #Bankersvoice

PLI by DFS = Divide & Rule • Divides MGMT & Association • Creates rift within officers • Opaque system → even ₹0 payout • Pushes unrealistic & unethical targets • Risks hard-earned service conditions • Step towards privatisation Not safe even for Scale IV+ BE UNITED ✊

The₹590Cr IDFC&₹160Cr Kotak scams in Haryana hv shatered myth of "superior" pvt bank gvernance.Wen PSUbanks face NPAs,tey r hit wit intnse scrutiny.Yet,wen pvt banks fqce masive internal control collapses,it’s often brushed off as "operational lapse" rather tan "systemic risk."
Nitin Tyagi@iNitinTyagi

🚨 ₹145 Crore Fraud in KOTAK MAHINDRA BANK now exposed! This comes after the massive ₹590 Cr scam in @IDFCFIRSTBank involving Haryana Govt funds. → Missing FDs, → Fake renewals, → Duplicate accounts opened without approval, → Funds diverted to multiple accounts And shockingly, the fraud was buried for nearly 6 days. Officials were kept in the dark while bank employees kept sending renewal documents to maintain a false sense of security. This is not negligence, this is organised manipulation. Why were public funds shifted from @TheOfficialSBI to private banks in the first place? Who approved it? Who benefits? Taxpayer money is not a playground. Fix accountability of @KotakBankLtd or expect public outrage to grow louder. #Bankersvoice

A very pertinent observation by @TamalBandyo ji. Transparency in promotions is not merely an HR ideal—it is central to morale, credibility, and institutional integrity. When processes lack clarity and uniformity, it inevitably impacts motivation and trust at all levels. As stakeholders in the system, we strongly believe that well-defined, objective, and transparent promotion frameworks are essential for sustaining both performance and fairness in all PSBs. This is an area that deserves serious, system-wide introspection and reform. @aiboc_in

Huge amount is being spent on the training and developing leaders, but does it help?Soft skills is almost negligible among the top level. And now, with introduction of KRAs, noone thinks of sustainable growth of banks.Focus is only on individual KRAs.

Dear DFS, what an utter disaster! Demonetisation failed India. Trade policy failed India. Now this divisive selective PLI is destroying the entire Indian banking system! You claim it motivates staff? Over 93% branches are run by officers up to Scale III who generate ALL real profits, deposits, advances & recoveries — yet they get peanuts while Scale IV+ executives pocket 8-15 lakh with zero transparent metrics and blocked promotions! No more BM role for Scale III? Then DFS babus — come run Mudra, SVANidhi, CGTMSE, APY, PMJDY yourselves on overtime! #EqualPLI for ALL or NO COOPERATION

@SunilLa58275710 @manish3065365 @idesibanda @ramshankarsingh @ManishkBarnwal9
