There are nowadays several thousand social media accounts about climate that relay COP-related messaging non-stop. Not one of them pauses to ask: why on earth are we at number 27 of this annual talkfest?

@DavidSpero14 @Indiaclimate @WinterOakPress 2. Knew a family that did when I was a kid. None of them wore shoes which seemed weird to me at the time. They lived off the grid. Growing all their food. Think they even had bee hives. Home schooled and etc. Downfall is the kids were difficult to understand when they spoke.

@elleprovocateur Thanks Cory. This is what the Indian government's unhinged 'International Solar Alliance' has wrought. The 'alliance' is a globalist-inspired fantasy of Modi, who cares not that the microfauna of semi-arid lands, let alone farmland, must correspond with air and sky.

@KGoaman @WinterOakPress Our advice. Those with flocks of birds and herds of cattle should strap a shotgun to their shoulders. We've heard it helps keep corrupt vets far away and keeps small farms and businesses running.

Heard of a chap with big flock of chickens, a few of which had 'tested positive' for 'avian flu'. Tested by the vet. Now the vet is coming to kill them all. This is sick. All part of the agenda to destroy farming, small businesses & disrupt food supply. As with foot & mouth, BSE.

@unepwcmc You're flat wrong. But then, everything you do and say nowadays carries with it the reek of criminal globalism.

Protecting #30x30 yields benefits outweighing the costs at least 5:1. It is a win-win for people and nature. We must prioritize the natural world for our shared future and NOW is the time for action. #COP15 #CampaignForNature

@nathan_oxley Well Nathan, here in India, it was the colonial British occupation which invented the term 'wasteland' for all that couldn't be ordinarily cultivated. But 'free' India's administration long ago learnt to misname semi-arid tracts as wasteland, to use it for 'development'.

“The assumption that… drylands are worthless, deforested, & overgrazed landscapes has led, since the colonial period, to programs & policies that have often systematically damaged dryland environments & marginalized large numbers of indigenous peoples.” pastres.org/2020/10/30/of-…

Well we thought it's a good time to return to this particular platform. Because the annual schmoozefest is under way. You know, COP number 27. The usual circus: a few hundred private jets, few hundred worthless 'side events', lies, fabrication and very expensive hotel bills.

@WinterOakPress Ah yes it does. But you know, we think they'll need idealistic oldies who once were revolutionaries and heretics, to listen to and learn from. Let's find those first.

About the flood in Bangalore, India, that destroyed most of the homes in two of the city's most expensive gated communities. It wasn't climate change. It was greed + stupidity. What they built these multi-million dollar homes on was wetland. The water was destined to come.

Can the world's mainstream media truly be this stupid? Or are readers/viewers - for continuing to subscribe to their derangements?

Very strange. That distinct cloudfront is some 750 km in length, approximately 240-260 km out to sea from the western Indian coastline and parallel to it. Very unusual formation for a late June.

@Survival There is no 'commitment'. The Indian government does not have and never did have any mechanism to explain to Indians what it understands by 'net zero'. Not one of Modi's 'commitments' has been prefaced by open, documented discussion at home. They are worthless.

A delightful story. The keeping of an essential tradition through two generations - and in such a difficult phase of the modern era - is the rest of the story we would like to hear about.
