@DavidSpero14 @Indiaclimate @WinterOakPress 2. Knew a family that did when I was a kid. None of them wore shoes which seemed weird to me at the time. They lived off the grid. Growing all their food. Think they even had bee hives. Home schooled and etc. Downfall is the kids were difficult to understand when they spoke.

Silvia Federici warned us of "the danger of living in a world in which we no longer have access to seas, trees, animals, and our fellow beings except through the cash-nexus”.

@elleprovocateur Thanks Cory.
This is what the Indian government's unhinged 'International Solar Alliance' has wrought.
The 'alliance' is a globalist-inspired fantasy of Modi, who cares not that the microfauna of semi-arid lands, let alone farmland, must correspond with air and sky.
English

@KGoaman @WinterOakPress Our advice. Those with flocks of birds and herds of cattle should strap a shotgun to their shoulders.
We've heard it helps keep corrupt vets far away and keeps small farms and businesses running.
English

@unepwcmc You're flat wrong.
But then, everything you do and say nowadays carries with it the reek of criminal globalism.

Protecting #30x30 yields benefits outweighing the costs at least 5:1. It is a win-win for people and nature.
We must prioritize the natural world for our shared future and NOW is the time for action. #COP15 #CampaignForNature

@nathan_oxley Well Nathan, here in India, it was the colonial British occupation which invented the term 'wasteland' for all that couldn't be ordinarily cultivated.
But 'free' India's administration long ago learnt to misname semi-arid tracts as wasteland, to use it for 'development'.
English

“The assumption that… drylands are worthless, deforested, & overgrazed landscapes has led, since the colonial period, to programs & policies that have often systematically damaged dryland environments & marginalized large numbers of indigenous peoples.” pastres.org/2020/10/30/of-…

@WinterOakPress Ah yes it does.
But you know, we think they'll need idealistic oldies who once were revolutionaries and heretics, to listen to and learn from.
Let's find those first.
English

"Humankind needs new generations of idealistic young revolutionaries, heretics, inspirés with a burning sense of purpose and destiny, with the unquenchable energy to will into existence the new world of which they dream”

@WinterOakPress @MargaretAnnaAl1 Wonderful. We find that the philanthros infesting our world are all, without exception, committed misanthropes.

Well we've had about 10 days of the proper monsoon. What does this mean for the rest of the rainy season?

This about sadly sums it up. Some 200 countries and territories, about 40,000 (!) people attending, days and nights of wrangling, and a lily-livered 97-para apologia is the outcome ?? What a circus.
Rahul Goswami@rahul_goa
With 14 'welcomes', 13 'recognises', 13 'urges', 11 'notes', 8 'emphasises', 6 'decides', 5 'acknowledges', 5 'requests', 4 'calls' and 3 'encourages', the 97 paragraphs of the #COP26 Declaration spells utter failure. Again.
English

@Survival There is no 'commitment'. The Indian government does not have and never did have any mechanism to explain to Indians what it understands by 'net zero'.
Not one of Modi's 'commitments' has been prefaced by open, documented discussion at home. They are worthless.
English

#Modi has just committed to reaching net zero by 2070 at #COP26. But what does this mean for India’s #Indigenous peoples? 🤔

"Urgent action is crucial," quoth the feller.
We've heard that from 1995, the first CoP, and the attitude of the planet's elites hasn't changed a bit during this time.

Prince Charles just flew 16,000 miles on private jets & helicopters within the space of just 2 weeks. 162 tons of CO2 emitted. 18 times that of the average Brit. I think he should 'change his attitude' and behavior first.
