@Panks_Arora The more funnier part is BS6 phase 2 vehicles are RDE compliant eliminating the need of PUC test but it's still mandatory
English

Pollution certificate for private vehicles feels like one of the biggest legal scams.
Never seen a single car fail the test.
Never heard of any vehicle getting permanently banned for excess pollution.
Yet lakhs of certificates are issued every month and crores collected.
For the government, pollution seems less important than collection.
The air stays dirty, but state coffers become cleaner every year.

India has surpassed USA to become world's second-largest solar market, increasing its solar capacity from 2.8 GW in 2014 to 155 GW in 2026.
Under the leadership of PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, initiatives like PM Surya Ghar are strengthening India’s shift towards sustainable energy with 40+ lakh solar-powered homes, 15,000 installations in a single day and 1 lakh homes being added in just 8 days.

Some are saying we should go only by official announcements. That's logical.
Look at it this way. Had government sold $12 billion worth of gold, do you expect an official press release?
It might not have become public knowledge at all.
Today's press release came because Bloomberg published an information which was factually incorrect.

🚗🛣️ #LaneDiscipline #RoadSafety #SafeDriving #TrafficAwareness

India’s declining economy. Since year 2020 it has been losing strength. A collapse this year in October may happen if strict economic reforms are not introduced. Modi is clueless and Finance Ministry is bewildered. Our Nation may soon be seen internationally as being led of economist clowns. Time for our patriotic scholars to suggest the way out.

The underlying issue is 'skill'. Traditionally police forces in India have relied on methods that make things easier for themselves, and this has resulted in dilution of people's rights (Section 144 at the slightest chance or protests) or put the public to great inconvenience (making airlines wait, blocking roads, etc.) That has let them manage without skill, using their authority instead. But when that is challenged by someone - like in this case - the underlying gap in skill is exposed.
(a) Some support for VIP movement is a global norm
(b) But it also requires training and skill
(c) Using authority alone is bound to be inefficient
(d) Globally, a 4-minute stop is enough
(e) If the cops hit that standard, no one will mind
(f) That's what they should aim for, it's achievable.

Media yet again calling transfer of CBSE officers and constitution of an inquiry committee as BIG ACTION by the government!
So laughable, no wonder the mainstream media credibility is sinking every single day!
Pyaari Media this is a bandaid for a situation that needs URGENT surgery! Sacking has to start from the top not from ikka-duka transfers!

@acpeasttraffic @prajvalprince @DCPTrEastBCP Even then he has equal rights. Honour the person who stood up for the right thing.
Priority is different for different people and your officers can't know that. Maybe someone is rushing home for emergency

Regarding the viral incident, enquiry was done and it was found that the concerned person was travelling alone. We want to reiterate that in any situation during road travel priority is always given to ambulances and medical emergency cases. 1/2.. @prajvalprince

Old Airport Road is already choking under underpass construction. Today, traffic was completely halted for nearly 30 minutes due to the Governor’s movement. A man carrying his pregnant wife was stuck in the gridlock. When will public convenience matter as much as VIP convenience?

@BlrLibertarians Absolutely and with no exception throughout the country

A viral video from #Bengaluru has reignited the debate over VIP movement and public inconvenience after a man travelling with his pregnant wife allegedly got stuck in a traffic gridlock caused by restrictions linked to a Governor's convoy.

Banneghatta dirt track - the full stretch between Dairy Circle and NICE junction was slated for improvement in the annual budget. That work has not begun, but we're happy to spend another 3 crores in temporary fixed, meanwhile? And where did B-SMILE come from with their project -is that more money on the same stretch? Vega junction improvement is also to be taken up this year. All this seems too uncoordinated and without metrics. @comm_blr_south we need to get this moving with locals' participation and clear sequence.

VIP culture needs to end. People struggle whenever these folks are on the road. They have been wasting our money.

Traffic stopped for 30 minutes in Bengaluru for Governor’s VVIP movement.
A man carrying his pregnant wife to the hospital was stuck and sat in protest.
99% of us do not even know who the Governor of Karnataka is but the city traffic is halted every-time he passes by.
This culture needs to be abolished ASAP, full support to the Man.

@sumanthchandar @ChristinMP_ It's an excellent initiative. The condition of Bannerghatta road is such that you might soon need armour.

Saw traffic police conducting helmet checks at lot of places on Bannerghatta Road last week. Hope it was not only to reach monthly targets but to educate people of safety measures.
However, there was no wrong side driving checks anywhere. At many places, two wheelers had the audacity to come in front of traffic police 😃 as they know this time target was only on helmets
