Conspiring Indian Women's founder RASHMI MISHRA is once again in the news after her team revolted against her for bullying and exploiting women. One brave member called her out at an event & Rashmi can be heard saying "She is talking about me" #IIW

Warmest congratulations, Sir Sadiq Khan, on your well-deserved knighthood! We are incredibly proud of all you've accomplished for the people of London. Only in this city could the sons of migrants rise to become both Prime Minister and Mayor of London. London truly is OPEN to all!
Sadiq Khan@SadiqKhan

Truly humbled to have received a knighthood in the King’s New Year’s Honours. I couldn’t have dreamed when growing up on a council estate in south London that I'd one day be Mayor of London. It’s the honour of my life to serve the city I love. standard.co.uk/news/uk/london…

I remember a similar case where the @HCI_London facilitated harassment of an innocent man in 2019-2020. In 2019 The distress cell asked @indianladiesuk to help a lady N Rawat who had allegedly become distressed and destitute after the Police had removed her from her husband’s home. We went to see her and during no our meeting we found out that she had been married to the guy for a year but had lived with him only 15 days, and had the marriage through a matrimony website. She separated from her husband just after 3 months of marriage and had put charges in Indian court of attempt to murder, unnatural sex, rape and domestic violence, just like what Atul Subhash’s wife had done. Yet she wanted the husband in London to allow her inside the house to give the marriage another chance. She clearly told me that she had come to London to somehow manipulate him and take him to India as he is not responding to Indian cases. She told us some shocking details hoping we will help her grab the guy for her. We made the High Commission of India aware of her intentions immediately. Yet they continued to help her, ignoring our warnings. But her lies couldn’t convince the British system and she was forced to leave the UK. It’s been 4 years since and we have seen her put a new case every month against the guy who is now being supported by us. She has made his parents life miserable and she is asking for exorbitant amount of money as maintenance for a 15 days marriage. The guy an IT person like Atul and is suicidal, he can’t see his parents and the judges in Indian courts are playing to the tune of this woman who is using her ST status even while being a Rajput because she comes from Jaunsar (I know it sounds like Jaunpur) region in Uttarakhand where everyone is ST. She didn’t revealed this status to her husband and he knew her only as a Rajput. This misuse of ST status and Indian judicial system to destroy lives has been used by this woman. I will give more details of the case later but the High Commission should know how they gave power to the wrong person. The real victim is still suffering. And @indianladiesuk hasn’t got involved since.
News Algebra@NewsAlgebraIND

BIG NEWS 🚨 Atul Subhash had reportedly prepared a checklist of the tasks he needed to get done in the days leading up to his demise. He created a checklist that was divided into 3 parts- 'before last day,' 'last day' & 'execute last moment. As the tasks were completed, it had 'Done' printed in front. Only a responsible person would think this much.

Why should it come to that? If the Police does it's job properly, these murders can easily be avoided. Victims need to be taken more seriously. Harshita Brella was failed by the Police, was denied help due to her immigration status. She was strangled and the murderer has fled.
Ministry of Justice@MoJGovUK

Each year in England and Wales, around 85 people are killed by their current or ex- partner. Under new laws, judges must consider longer sentences for murders involving strangulation and those who kill their partners at the end of the relationship. gov.uk/government/new…

Harshita Brella's story should serve as a wake-up call for the police across the UK. For far too long, the police here have ignored the pain and suffering of migrant women, failing to offer the protection they desperately need. Terms like “dowry” are foreign to them, and they often dismiss the abuse of South Asian women as if it’s a cultural norm, with physical violence seen as an unfortunate but accepted part of life. In my nine years running a non-profit @IndianLadiesUK that supports women of Indian origin, mostly first-generation migrants, I’ve witnessed consistent failures by both the police and the Home Office. Women are often brought to the UK by NRI men who settle here, only to face financial, emotional, and physical abuse. By the time these women come forward to report the abuse, they’ve already endured so much. But the moment they reach out to the police, their suffering often intensifies. The police frequently tell them to leave their homes for their own safety—without any concern for where they’ll go. Many women are forced to leave with young children and are often unable to access social services due to visa restrictions. If the woman attempts to return to India for shelter and support, she may face accusations of kidnapping, as her husband files a case claiming she took the child without permission. Meanwhile, the High Commission of India in London (@HCI_London), whose duty is to protect distressed Indian nationals, is shockingly unresponsive. Calls often go unanswered, and when they do pick up, their response is to suggest the woman should leave the UK. They question why a victim would want to stay, casting judgment on their situation instead of offering help. It’s clear that those running the women’s cell at the High Commission have little understanding of what a “distress cell” should do. Instead of offering legal guidance, shelter, or referrals to appropriate organizations, they push victims away. This systemic failure needs urgent attention from both the UK and Indian governments. For the past nine years, we have fought for the rights of Indian women in the UK, rescuing and supporting hundreds who’ve fled domestic violence. We’ve provided them with the assistance they need, while those in positions of power—who have the resources to make real change—sit idly by. It’s time for this to end. @metpoliceuk @NorthantsPolice @CommissionerDA @SolaceWomensAid @centreWJ @SikhWomensAid @NCWIndia @BBCNews @BBCHindi #PoliceFails #MetPolice #britishpolice #PankajLamba theguardian.com/uk-news/2024/n…

Migrant women often face unique challenges about reporting abuse and accessing support. They have limited knowledge of the legal system, language barriers, or fear of deportation. Indian Ladies UK plays a key role in breaking down these barriers. #DV tinyurl.com/mu6nnvuh

her visa was curtailed by her husband. It all started in Dec 2023 but we were determined 2 fight for her. This year we got DV visa approvals for the most complex cases. It gives us hope that we can continue to fight for the voiceless who can’t stand for themselves.

The women sooner or later find us but sometimes it's too late for them to get support or justice. We would urge @VDoraiswami to engage with us so that we can provide better service to the community and not fail these vulnerable victims who struggle to find help in an alien land.

This same women cell was restructured after we campaigned for it. Until recently we were working closely with @HCI_London, MEA and OIA to provide help, support and information for women fleeing domestic abuse.

Shocked to see @HCI_London's treatment of an Indian woman in distress. She moved to the UK in May, in June her husband beat her up twice. After the second time he left home saying he is sorry and needs some time to calm down and didn't return back.
