@ashwinexe Are you doing this more for learning or do you have a very specific use case for yourself?

Keeping my audiophilia aside, I spent the weekend learning about Speech-to-text and I learnt a little too much! Here's Gossipr v1. github.com/ashwinexe/Goss… Extremely straight forward STT, replaces my use-case of wisprflow for when I want to do dictation. Built simply with Python & @GradiumAI.

I was really getting into @WisprFlow for improving my productivity. But the limit hit too soon before I could get hooked and start paying. I'll make a in-house version and open-source it soon.

Apple is breaking transcription apps like Wispr Flow and SuperWhisper with the new iOS 26.4 update. While, there are fewer apps on Android, the experience on the platform is much better because of the flexibility Google allows weekinvoiceai.substack.com/p/apple-is-bre…

Today, we’re opening @sunapp_ai to the public. We’ve been building this not so quietly during @a16z @speedrun. Audio used to be something you search for. Now, you generate it. Podcasts. Audiobooks. Courses. Any topic. Any length. Ask questions as you listen. And if you don’t know what to generate, SUN knows what to play. This is a new era of audio. Download it and experience the magic! @anmolm_ Yes, there is a UPI option. I wish more software companies did this.

Grammarly seems to be widely rolling out its ₹392 per month plan in India. Some people have been getting emails about this for the last few months.

Lumiate says India is now the second-largest music streaming market behind the U.S., with 489.9 billion streams clocked in 2025. India is also the largest market for ad-supported streaming in Asia, with 84% streaming share coming from that channel.

@purnacool I won't likely pay for Grammarly's premium product, but since I write in many apps, I don't want to have to paste text into another tool for basic proofreading every time.

@IndianIdle It remembers your initial prompt. Define it with a one letter and can use that letter : everytime before the thing to proofread

We're rolling out auto-translate worldwide to give posts in any language global reach on X. The translations are powered by Grok and have improved substantially over the last couple months. If you prefer to read in the original language, you can always turn off auto-translate by tapping the gear icon.

@GauravBanka @Google That’s true. Right now due to whatever changes have happened dictation on iOS is annoying. Google might not have wanted this kind of experience. They’d rather work with this for now, improve the models and release integrated app on Android.

@IndianIdle Not integrated to a keyboard. So everytime one has to open the app, speak & transcribe, copy text, go to desired app and paste. Too much friction. @Google integrate it as keyboard similar to WisprFlow and Monologue.
