Trump just posted this: Jesus with His arm around him, openly saying: “I was never a very religious man .. but doesn’t it seem, with all these satanic, demonic, child sacrificing monsters being exposed .. that God might be playing his Trump card!” And it makes our May 2025 Episode 37 (below) feel almost prophetic. In “Pope Leo XIV vs Donald Trump: Holiness or Hypocrisy?” We asked the exact question this moment forces us to confront: Does God work through polished institutional sanctity (the Pope’s social-justice image that may hide corruption)… or through raw, flawed, but transparent instruments who stand against evil even while admitting their own struggles? Two powerful figures. Two conflicting paths. This tension just got even sharper. While Pope Leo XIV publicly disciplines Trump over the war in Iran, remember: it was Rome that invented the entire “Just War” doctrine, a scholastic checklist to morally bless violence. That concept is completely foreign to the ancient Church, to Orthodoxy, and to the undivided East and West of the first millennium. Our Fathers never theorized which wars were “just.” War was always seen as a tragic wound in a fallen world, never something to be elevated or justified by one bishop’s pronouncement. As we wrote earlier today: the true moral authority of the Church has always been conciliar and Spirit-led, rooted in “Blessed are the peacemakers” and “Put your sword back in its place,” not in a later Roman innovation that lets popes play judge over emperors and wars. This is the same hypocrisy we unpacked in our April 13 post reacting to Trump’s earlier Christ-like image, the irony of Catholic outrage over “blasphemy” while papal infallibility literally places a man where only Christ belongs Post here: x.com/Lemelson/statu… The same institution that has produced the largest documented child-abuse crisis in modern history now lectures the world on morality? Orthodoxy has never accepted that innovation. We preserve the ancient conciliar Faith of the Apostles and Fathers, where Christ alone is the Head. The whole Church (clergy + laity) safeguards the Truth. No single bishop gets to play God. Trump’s post today isn’t subtle. It’s a visual and verbal declaration that God can use imperfect vessels to expose and confront darkness. Watch the full episode (18+ min, timestamps in the original) and decide for yourself: 🔗 below. The May 2025 episodes were never about politics, they were about truth vs. image, holiness vs. hypocrisy, and why Orthodoxy alone refused to compromise the Faith once delivered to the saints. This moment proves it. What do you see when you look at this image? Is God indeed playing His Trump card? Drop your thoughts below, especially if you watched the episode or read our posts yesterday and from this morning. ☦️ Holy Orthodoxy stands uncompromised.
