I don't care for TMZ, but at least they have a journalist or two in their camp. The IWCNN tried to protect AEW by keeping this story from trending in the algorithm. Four wrestling news accounts with a total of a million followers can silence or amplify a story in hours. They deliberately chose to not report on it, hoping it wouldn't "trend" to more influential eyeballs.
TMZ has covered the story, and now certain studio and television employees are aware of it. Think it bodes well for that 2028 option clause?

Next time these journalists get a chance to speak to Tony at a press scrum or media call will they dare ask him about Ricochet or avoid it to not risk putting Tony in an awkward spot. The latter would just further prove that they avoided the original story on purpose.
