@MrEddieGillette Just wait until they aren’t with AEW anymore and the MVP criticism of Tony starts. Although we know a few journalists will ignore him then.

@EBischoff Exactly, but ppl think he’s only been like that since AEW came along when in reality it’s always been there. Maybe not as obvious as it is now but definitely there.

@Switchblade97 He’s saying they’ll stay on post merger, no one has said they won’t. It’s that they won’t be renewed when that time comes. Thats 2 different things.

@IndigoGordon There is saying everything is great and then there is saying 100% they will stay on Paramount. The latter requires certainty.

🚨 #AEWDoN broke the internet again! 1.4M peak viewers + 28k live crowd going absolutely feral 😱 That 42-min main event? Pure cinema. AEW just keeps raising the bar 🔥 ##AEWDoN

@nicklopiccolo @PWStream But…but…but….Tony and Ellison are best buddies according to Tony & AEW fans because Tony is the son of the owner of one of the least important NFL teams.

@jimmykorderas It’s AEW and its video game wrestling. These guys never know when the right time to end a match is.

It only just beats WWE’s developmental in ratings and AEW fans come out with nonsense like AEW is currently at WWE 1998 levels of momentum. Fuck, it’s not even back to AEW 21/22 level. Pure delusion with these ppl.
SkyTel@SkytelWrestling

WWE likely won't ever go out of business - but you can't walk away from a show like tonight, and comparatively to TKO's output the last few months, and not completely understand why I continue to say, AEW is in a WWF 98 spot momentum wise, while WWE is sitting at fall 99, WCW.

@SkytelWrestling WWE 98……don’t be ridiculous. It’s not even got the momentum AEW had itself in 21/22.

I left this press conference with the feeling that Tony Khan and David Ellison have probably already had some degree of serious conversations about AEW’s future once the merger goes through, and TK seems to feel confident about the direction of them.

@VicNeumann1 I think it was because Tony felt he owed Darby a run for doing Everest last year and he had to try squeeze it in here because Osprey will be getting it soon for quite a while. Ridiculous reason i know but that’s why I think Tony did it.

So, MJF won the AEW World Title back after losing it to Darby Allin just over a month ago. If the plan was to have MJF walk into All In as champion, why bother putting it on Darby in the first place? For the record, that’s now 5 title changes over the last 10 months. (1/3)

Mox always gets all of his losses back and when people glazed him for “putting guys over” in the C2, he won the goddamn title regardless and beat the people who beat him. Match was a Mox match, this adds nothing but time to the show. #AEWDoN

@TheRajGiri “If it’s a WWE thing Dave assumes the worst”…..are you only just noticing? He’s been like that for 40+ years.

Thanks to Paul B for sending this, this is Dave's actual quote: "it is interesting that by usage of that ICE thing that they (WWE) managed to turn him babyface to many, many people and kinda created a story that he never punched the guy and all that". Again, I never once heard from or contacted WWE PR on this, Dave just made this up in his mind. And that's the thing with him. If it's a WWE thing, he assumes the worst. If it's AEW, they get the benefit of the doubt
Raj Giri@TheRajGiri

I heard a clip of Dave talking about my Ludwig Kaiser story. And this is a perfect example of him stating stuff as fact when it's not true at all. He made it sound like it was a WWE planted story. I usually never discuss sources, but I will say this. I was never once contacted by WWE PR regarding this, and I never reached out to them.

@ringsidenews_ Doubt Wembley will want them back next year if this years attendance keeps tracking towards low to mid 30k. There’s a reason why tickets didn’t go on sale & Wembley not list the event until mid March because they were hoping to fill that date with something else that sold bigger.

@WestHam_Central What did for West Ham was this particular run of results. 3 potentially winnable home games and 1 away game against bottom of the table Wolves who were still winless at this point. Only 1 point from 12 screwed you up because tougher fixtures to end the season.

Ian Wright says the Newcastle game ALONE, how West Ham chose to go about it, means Tottenham deserved to come out of the battle alone, and West Ham deserved relegation based on that. Do you agree?

@UnlikelyAdrian @prowrestletimes The thing with ppl saying AEW could run something in the US on the week of Mania, what happens if AEW book something but then because of the troubles in the Middle East we see WWE move it back to America.

@prowrestletimes The question wasn’t asked because I was comparing the impact of WrestleMania to a AEW event, I said under the very specific circumstances of WrestleMania in Saudi Arabia would this be a possibility because I do think it is and think it would be successful.

21k approx fans. There have been RAW’s that have done 17k in the last year. AEW doesn’t shift entire economies of whatever city/state they’re in because of the influx of fans, which is the only reason WrestleCon / Mania week works..

@TheRajGiri That was true a couple of years ago, but since he’s re-signed with AEW he’s been one of its top cheerleaders. “The roster is the best ever, Tony is so smart etc etc…”

I love this quote from MJF to CBS Sports. I hope he becomes a coach when he retires. He doesn't need to teach anything in-ring, but his input on being a character and protecting it would do a lot for young talent. "I see guys, they're on TV, and then they go on Twitter and write, 'Oh my God, I just had such a great match with so-and-so. I've had so much fun at work these last couple of weeks.' It makes me want to vomit. It's disgusting"
