BREAKING: Former CIA Director John Brennan brutally rips into Donald Trump, saying that he "was not qualified" to be president before and "he is not qualified today." Then, Brennan really took off the gloves... "I think he didn’t believe what we were telling him," Brennan said in the interview with Belgian broadcaster RTBF. "And he was especially trying to find out how we knew what we knew about Russian interference in the election." "According to me, he was not qualified at the time, and he is not qualified today," he went on. "We could see in particular that he did not understand the importance of the United States’s relations with our foreign allies and partners. He has little recognition for the transatlantic relationship, for NATO." Brennan also criticized Trump for not supporting Ukraine in its war against the murderous invading Russian state. He's concerned that Trump could stop sharing American intelligence with Ukraine or cut off financial and military aid entirely. "And that would give Vladimir Putin the green light to try to almost swallow up Ukraine," he said. "And unfortunately, I think it will encourage [Putin] to look hungrily toward the rest of Europe." In the past, Brennan has condemned Trump for his "depravity and incompetence" and said that "his legacy" belongs in "a trash heap." We couldn't agree more.
