Phil Maton went five consecutive outings after coming off the IL without giving up a run before yesterday. Ground ball rate is above 50 percent and k-rate at 27 percent. It was a bad outing. To make this generalization is just wrong though if the knee really was a problem before the IL stint. Ask me again in June, I could certainly feel differently about this situation.
