it's quite simple: the things that make her picky don't make her more romantically desirable she is picky because she's a successful digital enterpreneur and micro-eceleb, and she is in her 30s so she likely has tons of men in the past to compare any new man to. these all make it extremely hard, maybe even impossible for a man to impress her but none of these things impress a man, they may even turn him off. she might accuse them of being insecure but really she just doesn't bring anything to the table that a pretty and clueless 18-21 year old can't match without all the added baggage she can talk about how she has frozen her aging in time but women do not only age physically but also in the mind, and too many years spent "searching" gradually takes away that naive enthusiasm they had towards romance i'm not even trying to be mean spirited here, it's just the unfortunate consequence of women who choose their career and independence over just giving themselves to whatever guy whisked their heart away when they were younger
