So it looks like CIG is pushing Star Citizen 4.9 to Live this week regardless, with a release candidate now being prepared. In my view, that would be a mistake if the goal is to demonstrate a conscious effort to address the game's long-standing issues, as Jared described in the latest ISC. Prioritizing the release schedule over resolving known issues fundamentally undermines the stated purpose of a patch focused on fixing those very issues. It makes the messaging feel increasingly hollow.

If 4.9 comes out this week, it won’t be any better than 4.8.3. In just the first hour, bunker NPCs were spawning without gear, friendly NPCs would sometimes randomly shoot you in missions, distro centers have atrociously bad performance, objective enemies can spawn outside of mission areas causing you to lose markers if you leave which makes friendly fire much easier. Klescher ore deposits don’t work, and when you leave you lose all your gear.

Yeah, what was CIG thinking with these sounds? The game periodically does this. There are these weird swings in direction, that come out of left field, that make no sense. Who is/is not overseeing these decisions? Because i don't think any current player of SC would want this.

That routine summer burnout of #StarCitizen is hitting extra hard this summer. As someone who literally can’t spend more than 20 minutes doing PvE content before logging off out of sheer boredom of shooting AI that rarely shoot back…. And doesn’t really enjoy the RP aspects of the game…. I’m just watching from a distance. I have logged in like 2-3 times in the last month or two just watching the game I love hit that summer slump. Item recovery and real loss can’t come soon enough

I turn into @XeroState's Star Citizen stream after a viewer sends me a clip of his 4 man group dying to 1 Empyreal Member (cloudy) and the viewer also claimed he was crying about EMPYREAL. Lo and behold, I hear him MALDING/LYING about EMPYREAL! Dear @XeroState: You shouldn't be talking trash about people and then expect them to be nice to you back. This is why every time we fight you LOSE, ever since Ghost Hollow in 3.19. No one cares about having a "bridge" with you, no one cares about "respecting you" - you have zero proof anyone was exploiting or stream sniping. You lost fair and square, don't hate the player hate the game. Go ahead and lie to your streamer simp bob viewers, all it does it make us more famous as a group and helps us when you advertise us. We have good relationships with multiple PvP groups and people in the game, we've run educational PvP ops for people and are friendly with a lot of groups. JUST NOT YOU and YOUR FRIENDS. All this experience does it make you seem extremely salty and a poor sport. Maybe stop aiming like you have a brick in your hand and blame the absurd desync in the game before you go in rants and tirades about Cloudy and Empyreal "exploiting and stream-sniping" or me "making up PvP kills at Ghost Hollow". I had the most PvP kills confirmed by CIG in 2023 with their "Deadliest Players List" and even posted videos of myself beating multiple orgs and players at GH back in 3.19. Listening to you cope about this for 30 mins+ after you banned me from your stream was GLORIOUS. You are a terrible person and always have been - I never want to have a good relationship with you and neither does anyone who knows what a sore loser you really are. Our videos speak for themselves: constant wins while outnumbered against every org in the game, and the same salt and cope from poor sports such as yourself. @InigoSebestian @ARCVR1 They have never acknowledged the terrible desync/FPS experience a single time until ~2 weeks ago. Their commitment to any sort of post on the subject is welcome - sometimes it results in improvement, sometimes you are right and it's just words. I'm hoping for the best.

#StarCitizen FPS sucks total ass when you can't switch your weapons and gadgets/healing around without it glitching out and IT'S JUST NOT FUCKING WORKING. FPS in SC is the MOST PATHETIC SHIT I've seen in any game ever, early access or not! It's just as bad in Arena Commander as PU. All round incompetence. @RobertsSpaceInd How long do we have to wait for you to fix FPS?

@ARCVR1 Two things are clear to me from this post. First is that you don't understand how game development works on a fundamental level. Second is that you are either always this bad at shooters or were having a bad day and decided to throw a fit like my niece when she doesn't get a toy.

@ARCVR1 Won't lie, the aggressiveness of the post bores me, however you are not wrong. FPS does need work and per the last podcast, they have talked about what they are working on to improve it. This isnt even "early access" this is pre-alpha. Still, it needs a LOT of love
