When I first played FF7 Remake and Rebirth, I never quite understood the significance of this moment. I didn’t fully understand Zack and what he went through, but having played Crisis Core and OG FF7, this reunion is fucking insane. I might have to replay the remakes…

@DashingDavidYT in a way remake feels more like a sequel than a remake given it assumes you are aware of what happens in the main games.

This remake series plans to close the entire FF7 series which requires not following prior events which again is avoided by Sephiroth and opposed by Omni Aerith. The story has not been following OG since the end of Remake

@Nemrick81 @_SpyDtroid_ Many story aspects of remake trilogy including Whispers, Zack, Aerith's death and continued involvement, the change of events and Sephiroth's different approach with Cloud rely on everything that's come prior. Especially in regards to the main Sephiroth in this.

@Nemrick81 @_SpyDtroid_ Keep in mind that he has addressed many times that the original FF7 is hard to get into due to old game design and he's specifically addressing the experience, mentioning stuff like modern graphics and presentation. Not the overarching story.
