The general apathy or rather indifference towards disability issues is huge in this country The good intentions are diluted down to mere checklist, instead of verifying its actual usage (I know this sounds more as umbrella statement n overarching, while there has been good progress.. but lot needs to be done n there needs to be change in mindset 1. Many govt offices and at times in private offices … the washroom for disabled people r used as storage rooms and not properly stacked up Would mention two specific instances out of many 1 @InorbitMall - yesterday went for movie with @AmiSri at @PicturesPVR at Inorbit Malad .. where as per requirement.. there is disabled toilet … but problem is, it’s completely unattended and uncleaned .. I slipped there yesterday, cuz it was water everywhere… although I could manage to get up n complained to manager about it, I really doubt any changes would b seen .. my hand is badly sprained 2. Other incident is at #MeluhaTheFern at Hiranandani Powai… the disabled toilet doesn’t have latch from inside… a total brain dead thing… just imagine an embarrassment a person (male or female) would face thru, if toilet is open while they are in.. I personally complained twice … once wen @knowlajay was there too, yet no changes The mindset has to move from checklist done to provide facilities which actually help

Horrible experience at @Lifestylegulf in @InorbitMall Hyderabad . The staff managing the Levi’s and American Eagle sections were incredibly rude, arrogant, and completely ignored customers. I’ve never experienced such terrible customer service anywhere else.
