From Matt Towery; “Special elections in Florida House races continue the trend of Republicans losing seats that Trump/Republicans won by ten points or more. The GOP can’t expect Trump to have to rescue them every time and everywhere. If something doesn’t change the GOP could be facing catastrophic results in November that result in the loss of the House and the Senate. The fact that these were special elections is no excuse.”

From Matt Towery: “Our InsiderAdvantage survey this weekend shows that Republicans are getting most of the blame for the shutdown and long TSA lines (Trump 44%, GOP Senate 36%). Of course, the reverse should be the case, but the lack of a paid robust information campaign by GOP forces gives Democrats another PR win. How is Trump to blame for Democrats not voting to fund DHS? Republicans never learn that they have to use paid ads to overcome a primarily left of center media. By the time they start airing ads in campaigns they have lost the public opinion battle.” More to come.

Will someone report the work of this honest pollster? A sea of dishonest rubbish and Robert Cahaly puts out real numbers. He, like our firm, have established track records. Here is his report: x.com/robertcahaly/s…

Trump was not elected to "manage" corrupt bureaucracy. "I will completely dismantle the deep state," was the promise. Americans wanted accountability for the real "Big Lies" they were told by once-trusted, now-defunct government. They still do, but getting tired of waiting.
James O'Keefe@JamesOKeefeIII

Caught On Hidden Camera: FBI Official Admits Minnesota Fraud Investigations Will Result In Zero Arrests “I don't think anybody [Daycare Fraud Criminals] would ever go to prison.” “We're [DOJ/FBI] just going to point somebody.” “By the time that case is done even being looked at, and ready to go to court, Trump won't even be in office anymore.” "He's [Kash Patel] not good at his job..he [Patel] just wasn't ready." Captured on hidden-camera a current FBI Security Specialist revealing how the FBI actually operates, admitting the Bureau will walk out major fraud and corruption cases. According to this FBI official, financial crimes “can take literally years”. So by the time investigations are ready, President Trump will be out of office, judges will throw cases out, and accountability will be dead. This is now the 7th FBI / DOJ official O'Keefe Media has caught on hidden camera in the past year admitting the same reality: - No Arrests - No Urgency - No Accountability Why does it take a hidden camera and a night out with a complete stranger to get the truth? Our system is broken. The American people deserve better. @FBI @TheJusticeDept @FBIDirectorKash @AGPamBondi

🚨 Important Statement on Trump Suing the @nytimes Over 2024 Polling 🚨 First of all, don't get me wrong. It's entirely conceivable from the work produced and Nate Cohen's own article released with the final round of NYTimes Polling that cycle, that they bent over backwards to give Kamala Harris a pathway she never had in 2024. Those of us who correctly polled the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election know that she never had a meaningful chance. But as the Chairman of the National Association of Independent Pollsters, I'm very uncomfortable with the idea of political figures suing pollsters for polls they don't agree with. More to the point, I can think of multiple other public polling outfits—media, university or otherwise—for which a far stronger case of blatantly bogus polling could be made than the NYTimes in 2024. Barack Obama quietly used the heavy hand of government to scare Gallup out of horserace polling following the 2012 election, despite it being one of only two times in their entire history to fail to predict the popular vote winner in a presidential contest. In my opinion, they now exist as a shadow of the former great polling firm they once were, completely unreliable, unbelievable and untested. Further, I am concerned even personal lawsuits will stifle innovation in the industry. Back in 2016, we pioneered alternative modes of data collection and methodology to reduce response bias as artifacts of tired practices. But under this premise, all pollsters including our founding members — @BIGDATAPOLL, @InsiderPolling, @Rasmussen_Poll, @trafalgar_group — will find themselves in an impossible situation, preventing us from daring to be better. Those innovations led to more accurate polling, but just because that may not always be the case, doesn't mean it's not necessary to the evolution of the industry. We at the NAIP agree with President Trump that something must be done about egregious misbehavior in the polling industry. I've spent my entire career advocating for it. We also recognize the right of individuals to sue media outlets who engage in reckless disregard for the truth. But this is not the right path. Polling has long been understood as more of an art form than a science. It provides broad guidance for a snap shot in time. Pollsters cannot be expected to provide a definitive answer to what is "true" as we should and do expect from journalists. There is a much fairer, more rigorous approach to policing bad actors posing as public opinion pollsters. The NAIP would be happy to help the president to determine which path to take.

At present Republicans are underdogs to hold on to their control of the House. But an election about impeachment of Trump could save the GOP by turning his vote out. This plan for tomorrow seems like questionable strategy.

So @EricLDaugh you are a great follower of polling. Will you ask @CBSNews and @bariweiss why they allow their pollster to leave out “undecided” when they poll @realDonaldTrump approval rating? It made a huge difference in our last survey insideradvantage.com/insideradvanta… and it is not the standard that the pollsters who have best polled Trump in elections, such as our firm, @Rasmussen_Poll @BIGDATAPOLL @trafalgar_group and other pollsters use. If it was on their survey it sure did not show up in the tabs. Where are the “polling police” on what appears to be an obvious departure from standards? I truly believe Ms. Weiss is trying to clean CBS up and not many in the news industry can keep up with the intricacies of polling. But for a presidential approval rating, this is, in our opinion, an interesting omission.
