US and Israel are working to end Jordan’s custodianship of Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque and replace it with a new Israeli-controlled “multi-faith” administration.
The proposed plan would allow expanded Jewish prayer access and give Israel influence over mosque leadership and Friday sermons.

@gardnerakayla @POTUS I wish you & your colleagues would call him out when he verbally abuses you.
You should all be ashamed of yourselves for allowing & tolerating this abuse.
What kind of example are you giving young girls ???
You are all permitting men to verbally assault women.
PATHETIC.

I asked @POTUS how the rising price of his ballroom (nearly x2 original estimate) and reflecting pool makeover (x7 original estimate) are any different than why he wanted to remove Fed Chair Jerome Powell for 30% cost overruns.
Here’s his response:

⛽ Daily Bulletin - Wed 13 May
Today: Chalmers' $14.8 billion budget fuel-resilience package funds the excise cut and lifts the stockpile target; the IRGC declared a tenfold expansion of its Hormuz zone; the Pentagon put the Iran war cost at $29 billion.
📊 Reserves (effective): diesel ~32d (29-33) | petrol ~41d (38-42) | jet ~25d (23-26) (projected from DCCEEW snapshot + verified inbound deliveries less consumption)
🚢 28 AU-bound tankers en route, ~1,423 ML. Wider tracking: 4,351 vessels, ~126,001 ML.
📰 Today's signals
• POLICY: Treasurer Chalmers' Tuesday budget delivered $14.8 billion in fuel-resilience measures - the petrol stockpile lifted to about 37 days and diesel/jet to 50 days, the fuel excise more than halved to 20.6 cents per litre through 30 June plus the heavy-vehicle road-user charge to zero ($2.9 billion combined), $1 billion interest-free business loans, $1.1 billion Cleaner Fuels Program, plus the existing $7.5 billion Facility and $3.2 billion Reserve.
• GEOPOLITICAL: IRGC Navy deputy Mohammad Akbarzadeh declared a tenfold expansion of the Strait of Hormuz operational definition - a 200-300 mile "complete crescent" from Jask to Siri Island, vs the prior 20-30 mile strait; second expansion since the conflict began. Reuters, Baird Maritime.
• GEOPOLITICAL: Pentagon acting comptroller Jules Hurst III told congressional hearings the Iran war has cost the US $29 billion, up $4 billion from the $25 billion late-April estimate. Al Jazeera, CNN, Military Times.
• MARKET: Brent traded around $105/bbl Monday; OPEC April production fell to a 26-year low 20.04 mbpd amid Iran-war shut-ins; EIA STEO sees Brent averaging $106/bbl in May-June. EIA, OilPrice.
• OPERATIONAL: Offshore Alliance members at Inpex's Ichthys LNG voted unanimously Tuesday to serve strike notice after the 15 May FWC meeting, citing outstanding pay-deal concerns; sixth FWC session since 24 April. Argus, LNG Prime, Riviera.
📅 Tomorrow: 14 May - Trump-Xi Beijing day 2.
My read: the budget tranche detail is the biggest direct AU-fuel-security commitment of the crisis - $14.8 billion crosses from frame-setting into binding fiscal lines. But the new 37/50-day target still sits well short of the 90-day IEA threshold Australia has missed since 2012 (about 49 days in early 2026), and a four-year build-out with refining work "beyond 2030" exposes Australia if the next crisis lands inside that window. The excise cut to 20.6 cents per litre is the load-bearing demand-side measure, but it also removes the price signal that would normally ration demand against tight supply, and the 30 June return to 52.6 cents per litre is the second-order risk if Hormuz has not reopened. Offshore, the IRGC's "complete crescent" formalises a wider operational claim over shipping while Aramco's Q1 call puts the cost at 100 million barrels per closed week and the Pentagon now puts the US Iran-war bill at $29 billion.

New: Trump said the US “know[s] more about drones than anybody” and it didn’t need Ukraine’s help. But a statement of intent obtained by @FT shows the Pentagon is asking for Ukraine to send it drones for testing and evaluation “to inform development of US military requirements for potential future acquisition”.

In the last days, many “Christians” will be worshiping the anti-Christ while insisting that they are not.
Trump’s “spiritual advisor”, Mark Burns, continues to gaslight people about his idolatry. He went on another rant trying to explain that unveiling a gold statue of Trump was about “remembrance, gratitude, and patriotism.”
First, the very fact that Burns feels the need to explain himself says it all. Trump is his idol. And God will deal with him according to his idolatry.
Second, I know very well what idolatry looks like. There used to be a Lenin statue in every city of the Soviet Union. In fact, the dead body of this idol is still lying in Red Square.
Third, Burns tries to use monuments to Abraham Lincoln and Martin Luther King Jr. as precedents, completely ignoring the fact that none of those monuments were erected while they were still alive.
This brings me to my conclusion: either Burns is so spiritually blind that he would not recognize it even if he were worshiping the anti-Christ, or he has never read the Bible. Because surely he would remember the story of King Nebuchadnezzar.
“King Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold, sixty cubits high and six cubits wide, and set it up on the plain of Dura in the province of Babylon. He then summoned the satraps, prefects, governors, advisers, treasurers, judges, magistrates and all the other provincial officials to come to the dedication of the image he had set up. So the satraps, prefects, governors, advisers, treasurers, judges, magistrates and all the other provincial officials assembled for the dedication of the image that King Nebuchadnezzar had set up, and they stood before it.” (Daniel 3:1–3)

The Australia–Israel relationship is not symbolic. It has saved Australian lives.
In 2017, ISIS planned to bomb an Etihad Airways flight departing Sydney. The device was intended to detonate shortly after take-off, killing around 400 passengers and creating the deadliest terrorist attack in Australian history.
That attack was stopped because Israeli intelligence identified the threat and provided critical information that enabled Australian authorities to intervene before the bomb reached the aircraft.
This is what intelligence cooperation means in practical terms. Not diplomacy in the abstract, but Australians getting home alive.

@abi4560 @Mark_Wilson_25 There are some denominations that have their own colleges where they do learn Hebrew. Finding a Hebrew teacher can be difficult though at times
English

@Mark_Wilson_25 Why do you suppose Christian churches don't teach their congregants from a young age Hebrew so they can read the Hebrew Tanakh(ot) for themselves??
English

@Mark_Wilson_25 @abi4560 Whilst it is in the New Testament, the parallel to to Gods provision in Genesis 22 can be found in John 1:29 “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
English

❖ Genesis 22
God rejects Abraham offering Isaac, but provides the substitute Himself: “God will provide for himself the lamb.” That sets the pattern: not pagan human sacrifice, but God-provided substitution.
❖ Psalm 22
The righteous sufferer is pierced, mocked, surrounded by enemies, yet later the nations worship YHWH. That fits suffering before glory.
❖ Zechariah 12:10
YHWH says, “they will look on me, on him whom they have pierced.” Israel later mourns over the pierced One.
❖ Daniel 9:26
“Messiah shall be cut off, and shall have nothing.” The Messiah dies before the final restoration.
❖ Isaiah 53:10
His soul is made an asham, a guilt offering. That directly uses sacrificial language for the Servant’s suffering.
So the issue is not whether sinful humans may offer human sacrifice. They may not. The issue is whether YHWH can provide His own righteous Servant as the final atonement.
Isaiah 53 says yes.

@IsraelinUSA @baum_p Luke 13 Jesus tells a parable of the fig tree which wouldn’t bear fruit for 3 years and the owner was ready to cut down. The gardener pled for more time.
The fig tree is Israel not bearing fruit to God by repenting. Jesus is the mediator who pleads on their behalf to spare them

Did you know?
A few years ago, scientists in Israel successfully revived an extinct Judean date tree from a 2,000-year-old seed discovered at Masada—bringing back a biblical variety that had been extinct for more than a thousand years.
Later, another ancient seed from the Qumran Caves was grown into a female tree, and together the two produced fruit for the first time in millennia.
For the first time in thousands of years, we are able to eat Judean dates again.
