@JohnSimpsonNews From a once respected journalist you are showing your true colours. What a ridiculous thing to say.

Argentina v England is important way beyond football. If Argentina wins tomorrow night, it’ll put real fire behind the demand for the Falklands. If England wins, that should put the lid on it — for now.

@SmogEngineer If the wind was from the west or south west, and you were beam on, that must have been pretty uncomfortable in a stumpy 42?

@IntercityFC Old ships, I did the OST and Ex Joint Warrior on her but left before she deployed and hit wolf rock. I remember we transitted the west coast and hit a storm, we lost all sorts of ships fittings and I believe the hangar door took damage too.

@MisanthropeGirl He obviously isn’t aware that Facebook/twitter feeds bring up stuff from the day before etc. Bit like some of the COVID stuff. The virus knows it is not to travel more than 2 metres.

@LucyTCWife I'm sorry Lucy but your post has riled up some hatred within me. I had to smash up a packet of digestive biscuits with my fists in order to vent it safely. Now I'm going to have to either throw them away or make a cheesecake. Advice please.

In the wake of the Ann Widdecombe murder, the usual imbeciles are calling “leftism” a mental illness. This, coming from the lot who climb fucking lampposts to hang tacky bits of cloth, whilst chanting “WE WANT ARE COUNTRY BACK!” Weird cunts.

A ‘queer environmental activist’ describes Ann Widdecombe apparently being bludgeoned to death in her own home as ‘quite a sad way to go out’, launches into a statement about what a bad person she thought Ann was and says many people won’t grieve for her.

@DominicFarrell Lucy Connolly got a 31 month stretch for comments like those made by Natalie Fleet, Adam Boulton, Heather Herbert and Peter Tatchell. Deleting & apologising was no defence for her.

@Shippers999 Looked like a clip from CCTV of neighbour. Can’t guarantee time stamp accuracy, can vouch for that from my own CCTV system. But you go with the info to hand. He could be linked electronically to the crime if he is part of a wider group.

@IntercityFC Was the date time stamp correct? I don’t know. The fact is he will be almost certainly linked forensically to the crime scene and if he is, his goose is cooked. He could have been on the Starship Enterprise for all it would matter.

@IBallantyn Plus an 801 NAS FA2 on deck. 801 generally embarked in Lusty mid 90’s to early 2000’s.

This is HMS Illustrious or HMS Invincible (note Goalkeeper CIWS) and, while I also took photos of the RN's carriers of that era in the Adriatic and Gulf waters (Lusty and Ark), I think this is during Staff College Sea Days, likely off Portsmouth in the late 1990s or early 2000s (due to what looks like loads of onlookers clustered on the island). This angle would be from an accompanying Type 42 destroyer I suspect.
