@automatedidiocy @AI_EmeraldApple onating blood would be different than having a magical button apear in front of you with a question. Many people might not have access to to donating blood, or the thought might never have passed them by. This would be a lot more clear of a choice.

@InterestingWatc @AI_EmeraldApple I don't think you understand. If this prompt goes out to everyone on the planet, the blue button option literally cannot win. Only 19% of the planet donates enough blood to cover their own population size. Only 8-11% donates at a real surplus.

This red vs blue thing revealed why the West is collapsing like it is. We have nearly 60% of people who voted in these so-called "polls" voting blue, but the reality is that when the choice becomes "real," many will turn around and vote red instead. History is a cold, hard proof of this dynamic. In elections, the mentality is the same. Too many voters have no skin in the game, and many just default to voting left, popular, or whatever party allows them to claim the badge of moral superiority and smug virtue signaling. Now I understand why our founding fathers did not institute universal suffrage, and why full democracies fail, because too many people who vote do not vote from a place of core rational logic, but from a place of "does it make me look like a moral person". People who vote blue based on morality in this poll are historically ignorant, completely delusional when it comes to the human psyche, and live in a fantasy world where their ideological worldview overshadows base reality. So... Pay attention to the blue button pushers. Any opinion on geopolitics, culture, and history from blue button pushers should be discarded like trash. The reality, based on history and basic geopolitics, the vast majority of the world will press the red button because humans overwhelmingly have ingroup bias, and will coordinate to make sure everyone in their group presses red. The only way blue wins is with massive global propoganda coordination, and even then, it is a slim chance of success. The only group with massive outgroup bias is middle to upper-class white leftist-liberal women, and white leftist men to a lesser degree... probably the only group with a high chance at pressing blue, and simultaneously nail themselves on a cross and rant about how virtuous they are. Everyone else, conservatives, moderates, libertarians, ancaps, the 3rd world, criminals, psychopaths, sociopaths, etc... all will be pressing red, dooming the blue to a dire fate.

There is a huge downside. Everyone is pressing a button, lots of people would die if red wins. There are many people not logical enough to understand that if you press red you live regardless. There will also be a lot of people pressing blue because they know this. There’s one option that only needs over 50% for everyone to live. Red would need 100%.

You’re missing a crucial part. Everyone is pressing the button. Many people I love are not logical whether it’s because they’re too young or not mentally able to think the question trough. I would not like to have them killed for “pressing the wrong button.” Also, I know many people I love would think the same way, that makes my choice even easier. Pressing blue.

@InterestingWatc @Skwerilleee Interesting! Do you think there's a weird paradox that people who think stealing from Trader Joe's is fine (low trust) are saying they'd press the blue button?

Everyone on earth takes a private vote by pressing a red or blue button. If more than 50% of people press the blue button, everyone survives. If less than 50% of people press the blue button, only people who pressed the red button survive. Which button would you press? BE HONEST.

@GenacGenacGenac @Skwerilleee Trusting over 50% to press blue is more logical than trusting 100% to press red. You would not need to press red, if you trust enough to press blue.

@Wulden83 I don’t know if suicidal empathy is the right wording. I guess you’re a Christian from your profile. Our savior has suicidal empathy, and the gospel of John says this is greatest type of love. It would be terrible if red won, and many people died.

There is no rationally functional brain that would push the blue button. You are suicidal, or you have suicidal empathy, and are attempting to save people through a twisted form of perceived altruism.

The reason we’re living in a comfortable society is because of the blood of past generations. Animals in nature put themselves in danger all the time to protect their pride, pack, or offspring. Blue only needs over 50%, not 100%. The only difference is blue kills no one by putting yourself in danger, where there will be deaths by voting red. I would rather risk myself than contribute to any loved ones getting killed. Would you?

You clearly do not see the point. People not agreeing on things is exactly why Red is the better option. You're living in a delusion where you think everyone is going to choose the "moral" option and consider others over themselves. When in reality that's not how humans work by nature. Self preservation is biologically ingrained into us, and one of our primary survival instincts. Do some research on the human brain and how it attempts to prevent you from harm, it's quite fascinating. Additionally, you are basing your argument entirely on morals which highly differ from person to person, culture to culture. On average, put in a dire situation a human on average will choose to protect and save themselves vs sacrifice themselves for others. Unless of course you're on social media where people will often take the moral high ground to try and look like the better person for clicks and views as seen in a lot of these comments. Plus this entire argument is stupid to begin with. In two difference scenarios if 100% blue or 100% red is chosen the outcome is still the same. But that only works in a perfect world where everyone comes to agreeance, which this social experiment and science proves will never happen. The only difference from choosing red, is that choosing blue introduces the risk that if not enough people agree, then you perish. So obviously based on that the correct option is just for everyone to pick red to be safer than sorry.

@FamedCelebrity With all respect you can’t decide an outcome of a poll just cause you disagree with the results. Of course it could be different if done for real, but blue has won the poll. You’re stretching your certainty red would win.

It is actually disturbing how dumb the average person is Red gives you a 100% chance of living, you literally get nothing beneficial out of choosing blue

@flackospalace I can see the point blue is making, the best possible outcome is no one dies. However if this hypothetical day were to come and there were real stakes, I don’t think the 56% blue on twitter would hold true I think people would save themselves in a panic

@TheLaurenChen Because many of the people pressing blue recognize that not everyone will press red. It’s the only option realistically where no one dies.

Reading people's justifications for pushing the blue button is actually spiking my cortisol levels If everybody pushes red - nothing happens! So why on earth would anyone press blue? It's a needless gamble, but it's being painted as the altruistic decision for some reason

@PoisonslashX @MrBeast Also, I’m not blinded by a religious ideology. Even evolutionary, you and the future generation can’t survive without others in a society. You don’t know who is voting blue, and you could kill your loved ones contributing to red winning.

@PoisonslashX @MrBeast Not attacking you, this is all a thought experiment. When have 100% of people ever agreed on anything? There will be people who vote blue, and it’s the only option that guarantees everyone lived. Voting blue is not illogical here.

I think the self preservation argument isn’t great. If you argue evolutionary, we work with each other to survive. Putting yourself in risk to protect others is the reason our species has got this far. As a Christian, personally I believe there is no greater love than to put yourself at risk for the people you love. I want to survive, but I’d rather die than be a murder.

@MrBeast Red because I don't trust humanity to choose blue. Red gives you 100% chance of survival, especially once self preservation ideology kicks in. Blue you are literally relying on others to make the same choice, and if they don't you perish.
