@Lauren_Southern Anybody that even comes close to seeing feminism in a positive light has deep issues. All emotionally damaged people support feminism in one way or another. its their way of trying to justify their mistakes and convince themselves it was not really their fault.

The first half of the prayer is two Spirit-inspired voices from your New Testament, word for word. Then we name the fruit of the womb: Jesus. Explicitly. By name. That's the opposite of vain speech. That's the entire point of the prayer. Now about Matthew 6:7. Read it carefully. "Use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do." The target is pagan babbling to gods who cannot hear. It is not a prohibition on structured, scriptural prayer. Psalm 136 repeats "for his mercy endureth forever" 26 consecutive times. Was David practicing vain repetition? Jesus prayed the same prayer three times in Gethsemane (Matthew 26:44). Was Christ guilty of vain repetition? The second half of the Hail Mary asks Mary, a righteous woman, to intercede. James 5:16 says the prayer of a righteous person is powerful. Revelation 5:8 shows the saints in heaven offering prayers before God. Every clause has a biblical address. The objection to the Hail Mary is not a biblical objection. It's a tradition-of-men objection dressed in biblical language. Which part of this prayer do you believe has no scriptural foundation?

This is such an ignorant take. I’m not interested in debating whether Candace is right or wrong. If she believes what she’s saying, she isn’t lying, even if she’s mistaken. That’s beside the point. What’s absurd is the assumption that only sinless people can be confirmed in the Catholic Church. And it’s deeply ironic. Protestant churches are full of people they would admit are sinners, yet the Catholic Church is condemned for receiving one more. Worse, Protestants insist salvation is by faith alone, apart from works… yet object to someone being received because of her works. So which is it? This is the same mindset of the Pharisees who said, “Why does He eat with sinners?” Because the Church is not a museum for the righteous. It’s a hospital for the sick.

Protestants say the Sign of the Cross is a Catholic invention. Tertullian documented it as an unremarkable daily habit around 211 AD. That's 100 years before Constantine. Think about what that means. Tertullian wasn't defending the Sign of the Cross. He wasn't introducing it. He was describing it the way you'd describe putting on shoes. In De Corona, he lists it as something Christians did at every turn: coming in and going out, getting dressed, bathing, eating, before sleep. Ordinary life. No explanation needed. You don't write about a practice that way unless it's already so embedded in Christian culture that your readers would find it strange if you didn't mention it. This is 211 AD. The Church is a persecuted minority under Rome. There is no Constantine. No Nicaea. No medieval papacy. No institutional machinery to impose liturgical inventions on anyone. And Tertullian himself later drifted into Montanism, making him one of the last people anti-Catholics should expect to be carrying water for Rome. The "Catholic corruption" argument requires a dateable turning point where the Church invented these practices. Tertullian keeps moving that goalpost back past wherever critics want to place it. If the Sign of the Cross is a Catholic invention, someone needs to explain how it got into the hands of persecuted North African Christians a century before the Church allegedly had the power to invent anything. What other early Christian practice do you think gets dismissed as a medieval invention?

You do not confess to Men....you confess your sins only to God. Jesus is the son of God and he died on the cross so people will confess to God.

My abortion is the kind people love to judge the most. I wasn’t underage, I wasn’t assaulted, and there was no medical emergency. I got pregnant because I knowingly had unprotected sex, no accident, no rare failure, just my own choices. By their standards, it was “irresponsible.” I knew abortion was an option, and I took it. Not because I couldn’t survive it or raise a child, I simply didn’t want one. I wanted sex without becoming a parent, and I chose not to carry the pregnancy. There’s no redemption arc here. I don’t regret it. Nothing terrible happened to me afterward, no punishment, no downfall. My life is still good. And that reality alone challenges everything people like to assume about women who make this choice.
