Sitting in it for extended periods because someone wants to live a nice quiet private little road whilst our property value plummets and we get all the pollution, traffic and no peace is a different kind of inconvenience and selfishness.

Lambeth Council's (very brief) statement on yesterday's court ruling. But it provides confirmation that the Council will not appeal to a higher court and will remove the LTN.

@ShimanoSteve Not just women, I just won’t walk down the LTN road now because it feels like inviting someone to try to mug me. It’s like a ghost town.

Shame that certain LCC members & assorted LTN activists have spent the last 5 years belittling & gaslighting women anxious about walking through badly lit, deserted LTNs at night. Women should be able to feel safe when walking OR cycling across London at all times.

Local cllrs pinning all their hopes for the livelihoods of those that work in Dulwich on a TfL report from 2013 that said those that walk to a high st spend up to 40% more. We are told shops noticeably quieter since the works. Certainly cyclists don't seem to be interested...

@clairekholland well done for the LTNs blocking Ferndale Rd. Ambulance has been out there and people can’t exit because you’ve shut every road out. ZERO common sense. All will get fines now for nothing. ZERO foresight for every day occurrences blocking people in their homes.

Local Cllr for Dulwich Village shocked when talking to residents on roads he's made busier and more dangerous that they've noticed their road is busier and more dangerous and tell him so. The worst part is him calling what they see 'misinformation'. Truly Orwellian.
